I'm halfway through your book. I love the content and the generous use of applicable graphics on every page. The Medeek tools are awesome. I'm new to sketchUp so it's never a dull moment. Take care and all the best to you and your team.

Does anyone know if Medeek wall can be used with other plugins such as Quantifier Pro?

It seems too American in the way it defines/constructs a building component. Would be great if it was more...European so to speak

it looks great_ but will it work with UK regs and measurement? is there a function to convert to metric?

Awesome review. I've used Google Sketchup for woodworking, and designing/building a 800 sf deck. I'm just a DIY guy, and love to build stuff. I've got 4 kids who are all over the age of 27 and I help them with their projects. I just finished renovation of a farm home, removed 2 walls, built two other, gutted and rebuilt 2 bathrooms and redid the kitchen from the stud walls up. This tool seems like it would be excellent for helping me figure out what the next project will be and building it virtually before doing it on my own. What's already available is sufficient for what I'll be doing. I've got a son-in-law who is an architect and I'll show this to him, along with the contractor that is building my retirement home.

Didn't read all the comments, but what about saving a "myDefaultFrame" frame as a separated component SKP file and just load it when need it? Did that work?
BTW thank you for the introduction. I love to see an in depth review about this.

I tried out the Medeek Truss trial a few versions (of SketchUp) back. Excellent plugin.
Could have used this for my recent collision detection model I made for a 2-story HVAC mechanical well.

Matt, great introduction to the Medeek tools. I have one or two of the plugins and will end up with all of them. Nathaniel does a great job, especially since he is a one man show. Did you mention his truss plugin, I think that was the first in the series.

Thank-you for putting together such a clean and concise summary of the extension. Now I understand why I should leave the advertising to the experts and stick with code development. Outstanding presentation, thank-you.
