please do Ford class aircraft carriers!
ОтветитьBig submarine with over 2m concrete betweeen steel double wall and laser reflection detection of torpedos and mines shoot away with needle thick metal beam ring accelerator gun also shooting over water and ring accelerator linear slow down propuleion system without screws ane ruders up to driving in cavitation bubble etc. etc.
ОтветитьWith rockert propulsion like cavitation torpedo ? Also possible with mercury ring pump counter accelerators propulsion shooting left and right same direction into tubes for linear slow down driving forward without screws onlu one ring used or one out backwards turning not loosing mercury or Pb etc. also in space ship.
Acceleration also like LHC possible and slow down with water, fences or fields in tubes better than ship screws with vertical axis stabilisator etc.
Mankind has never had the power to destroy the Earth not even close even if every nuclear missile that was ever built was launched at the same time we would not destroy the planet We would destroy civilization but the planet would still be here. Also it would not destroy all life Some life would survive It is only our arrogance that makes us think that we could destroy our planet.
ОтветитьI served on a Seawolf class submarine, the USS Connecticut, or the Double Deuce, as we called her. I love your videos. I haven't watched this one yet, but I'm really excited to. If I were an influencer, I would totally do a first watch/reaction video to this. As I'm not, I'll do a before and after comment. 😆😆😆
ОтветитьMaybe, just maybe, there are less a-boms on the world now, but i understand that there are now way more nations that have 'm. So chances of a loonytune pressing the wrong button have never been higher.
ОтветитьBuilt by Electric Boat in Groton, Connecticut.
ОтветитьWatching this in 2023, the comment: "In 2021, we don't have to worry about nuclear war, at least." Did not age well😅
ОтветитьI’m going to be serving on the USS Seawolf- Nub
ОтветитьI love the U.S. we build a sub capable of ending all life in a nation then named it after a peanut farmer 👩🌾
If the most powerful nuke in its arsenal doesn’t have the words “deez nutz” scrolled across it. I will be thoroughly disappointed in our navy.
Sadly now there is only two Sea Wolfs in operation.
ОтветитьPlease be my history teacher
ОтветитьThe Soviet Sub is a boomer. Different type of sub to an attack sub. Of course they’re a different size
Ответить33 billion? The UK spent more than that not tracking people with Covid. Pah, nothing, piss-ant money.
ОтветитьAre you going to do the Virginia Class subs?
ОтветитьToo many plugs here
ОтветитьI can’t take Simon Whistler. Unwatchable.
ОтветитьStrange to compare a Typhoon to the LA class.
ОтветитьI Love kuku FM.I want KUKU FM.I AM FROM BANGLADESH.
ОтветитьI love the Seawolves. I'm really curious how they compare to the Virginia class, though.
ОтветитьYou know your sub is completely OP when even the US government thinks it’s a bit too much.
ОтветитьI wish they would go back to naming subs after Fish or other aquatic life, and Name Carriers after states... or other historically significant carriers - Like Enterprise.
ОтветитьJesus Loves You
ОтветитьYes, Simon. We still need to worry about nuclear weapons. Goddamn Putin.
ОтветитьWhat about the American counterpart to the typhoon. The Ohio class.
ОтветитьGermany at it again
ОтветитьAkula and Typhoon are two different subs, not the same. Akula is fast attack, Typhoon a ballistic missile sub. Akula incorporated US propeller technology purloined and transferred over to the Soviets by the John Walker spy ring.
ОтветитьHi Simon, I’m from the state of Indiana(US). I’m a very conservative person and not sure if our views would clash or not, but your videos are fantastic. You pack a lot of info into 15-17 min. with good use of video and your very intelligible and articulate English accent is perfect for this type of platform. Keep up the good work.
ОтветитьIts 2021, we dont need to worry about nuclear war.... that statement didnt age well did it by 2022. We are closer now than ever since 1962.
ОтветитьWell it's good that we have this pack of wolf's as future doesn't look so promising
ОтветитьJust a quick note to let you know that, far from being interesting, amusing and informative, your narration style is nothing short of rambling, narcissistic and irritating. Just so you know Simon.
ОтветитьI love your videos very informative. But it seems almost treasonous to use meters and kilometers I'm talking about the greatest military the world has ever seen.
ОтветитьI watched all of the Seawolf submarines being built, and a lot of the men in my family worked on them, because they were all built in my hometown.
ОтветитьWe just sent 40 billion to Ukraine but 35 billion for subs is excessive? Nah subs are cooler
ОтветитьA couple of corrections - the Seawolf wasn't a US response to the Typhoon - the Ohio Class was. The Seawolf was seen as a successor to the Los Angeles Class sub. One is a boomer, the other is a fast attack submarine. The cost was the main reason for the demise of the Seawolf, and why the US moved onto the cheaper and almost equally effective Virginia class subs.
ОтветитьSeawolf class submarines weren't developed to counter Russian Typhoon class submarines but their deep diving titanium body super fast Alpha class..
ОтветитьIn another life, I could've been in one of these.
ОтветитьSeawolf was designed in the 1980s and early 90s and did not enter service until 1997, so, no they did not start "appearing in the 1980s"...
Ответитьlove the 3 seawolf class
ОтветитьI had a teacher in High School who served on Subs and he said the psych tests he had to pass were extensive.
ОтветитьThe Russians don't have any active Typhoon's anymore. They have all been decommissioned.
ОтветитьAs a submarine veteran, and a sonar technician, I would have sold my soul, along with the souls of all my family members, to have been awarded orders to the Jimmy Carter! Granted averaging well over 300 days a year submerged could be difficult. But not on me, my family. To be on americas only true spy/covert sub would mean amazing experiences. The fact it earns the Presidential Unit Citation every year offers the only evidence that what they do is utterly important and dangerous! Unfortunately there were no open spots for sonar when I was available for transfer.
ОтветитьS6W reactor is a Westinghouse. S6G is a GE reactor.
ОтветитьWhere's Russi'er' located? I wonder if that's by Russia?🤔 Americ'er',Chin'er' and the Alamo video(,which was great by the way),but the mention of General Sant'er' 'An'er' 😵spoken that way so many times......I kept waiting for one good one,but no!🙄 I love Simon's sense of humor, sarcasm, rants, throwing science shade🤓 on the church crazies and foil hats! Love it! 😆Subscribed to all "47" of his channels 😉!! Lol!! I don't know why this grates on me so much? 😬😬I can't be the only one? C'mon somebody, anybody out there?!?😳 🍑
