Big submarine with over 2m concrete betweeen steel double wall and laser reflection detection of torpedos and mines shoot away with needle thick metal beam ring accelerator gun also shooting over water and ring accelerator linear slow down propuleion system without screws ane ruders up to driving in cavitation bubble etc. etc.

With rockert propulsion like cavitation torpedo ? Also possible with mercury ring pump counter accelerators propulsion shooting left and right same direction into tubes for linear slow down driving forward without screws onlu one ring used or one out backwards turning not loosing mercury or Pb etc. also in space ship.
Acceleration also like LHC possible and slow down with water, fences or fields in tubes better than ship screws with vertical axis stabilisator etc.

Mankind has never had the power to destroy the Earth not even close even if every nuclear missile that was ever built was launched at the same time we would not destroy the planet We would destroy civilization but the planet would still be here. Also it would not destroy all life Some life would survive It is only our arrogance that makes us think that we could destroy our planet.

I served on a Seawolf class submarine, the USS Connecticut, or the Double Deuce, as we called her. I love your videos. I haven't watched this one yet, but I'm really excited to. If I were an influencer, I would totally do a first watch/reaction video to this. As I'm not, I'll do a before and after comment. 😆😆😆

Maybe, just maybe, there are less a-boms on the world now, but i understand that there are now way more nations that have 'm. So chances of a loonytune pressing the wrong button have never been higher.

I love the U.S. we build a sub capable of ending all life in a nation then named it after a peanut farmer 👩‍🌾

If the most powerful nuke in its arsenal doesn’t have the words “deez nutz” scrolled across it. I will be thoroughly disappointed in our navy.

I wish they would go back to naming subs after Fish or other aquatic life, and Name Carriers after states... or other historically significant carriers - Like Enterprise.

Akula and Typhoon are two different subs, not the same. Akula is fast attack, Typhoon a ballistic missile sub. Akula incorporated US propeller technology purloined and transferred over to the Soviets by the John Walker spy ring.

Hi Simon, I’m from the state of Indiana(US). I’m a very conservative person and not sure if our views would clash or not, but your videos are fantastic. You pack a lot of info into 15-17 min. with good use of video and your very intelligible and articulate English accent is perfect for this type of platform. Keep up the good work.

A couple of corrections - the Seawolf wasn't a US response to the Typhoon - the Ohio Class was. The Seawolf was seen as a successor to the Los Angeles Class sub. One is a boomer, the other is a fast attack submarine. The cost was the main reason for the demise of the Seawolf, and why the US moved onto the cheaper and almost equally effective Virginia class subs.

As a submarine veteran, and a sonar technician, I would have sold my soul, along with the souls of all my family members, to have been awarded orders to the Jimmy Carter! Granted averaging well over 300 days a year submerged could be difficult. But not on me, my family. To be on americas only true spy/covert sub would mean amazing experiences. The fact it earns the Presidential Unit Citation every year offers the only evidence that what they do is utterly important and dangerous! Unfortunately there were no open spots for sonar when I was available for transfer.
