Quite a few nice tips... but covering the Properties panel with the values we need to see with a completely redundant video of a guy standing really detracts from it.

This video is an example of why it’s so hard to learn blender. I’m making a lot of these mistakes. But having watched this video I’m still clueless. I have not been able to get beyond the level of following a tutorial. I do what they tell me to do step-by-step. Sometimes it seems to work, sometimes it doesn’t. I have no idea why. And I often have no idea why the steps I’m being told to take have anything to do with the results I’m getting. A lot of these videos would be more useful if the person speaking realized some of us need them to define the terms they are using.
