Spotify’s Dj is the laziest DJ mode I’ve ever seen! All it does is fade in and fade out tracks.

Random question. I use spotify and djay together when I dj a ceremony. I used to toggle over to djay to load/cue up my first entrance song while spotify was still playing. Last week I noticed that now when I toggle over and open djay that my music automatically stops playing on Spotify. Any thoughts about how to fix this? I'm guessing something in settings had changed with a recent update perhaps?
