Man, I love listening to these stories :D And Chael has trained with or fought such legends that his words should really mean a lot to everybody. I mean, the guy fought the MW GOAT, the LHW GOAT, and the HW GOAT. And he had them all in trouble. Fedor had him hurt on nearly every exchange, but Sonnen kept coming back, and Fedor was starting to get tired (that doesn't mean he was getting close to being done, though). Chael was so close to beating Anderson and even Jon. I mean, Jon's toe was messed up. Another thing I loved about Sonnen the fighter is that he always came to fight. The guy pushed the tempo and kept attacking. I love that. Sure, it's dangerous, but too many fighters are playing it safe. He also created excitement with his intelligent trash talk. One of a kind, Chael Sonnen.

Mayhem rolling with him and phalhares is going 100% and crushing mayhem after the roll miller looked at the camera and said that guys good I want to go with him again Mr I don't care if you tap I'm snapping your shit.. butamante his coach had to ban him from the gym or rolling with certain guys he was breaking guys limbs in practice.. done it multiple times in the UFC the guys tapping the referee is tapping his back he's still cranking putting a MMA fighter out for over a year .. he then fought Jake shields .. was sticking his fingers in his eyes trying to rip his eyes out.. even in adcc he ripped David Allen knee to bits then trys hugging him .. the guy definitely wasn't all there.. but mayhem after getting smashed by this guy that looks like a mini hulk all the juice he was on . Thought that was fun I want to go with the guy that tries to break your limbs in training.. mayhem might have trained hard but if he was getting his ass beat he could take it and it was like he enjoyed getting hit

so good, he's never even lost a round in sparring.

Thanks for the story Chael. The first Tanner-Baroni fight was a wild one from start to finish. Second one was pretty much all Tanner, maybe his best striking performance overall.

I trained with Team Quest back in the day when it was in the back a car lot. I met Chael actually rolled with him and Randy. This guy named Matt Horowitz was crazy good on the ground but what I took away from that entire 2wks was that Evan Tanner was a really decent man. He actually took time to talk to me and knew my name when I would walk in.
