if the daughter didn't want to live in there, what might be understandable concerning costs and that she lives far away maybe, why not selling it to someone who wants to keep it up. let alone the books are worth a fortune (at least museal)... and the grand piano could have kept in good condition. do you know what a grand piano this size (concerto?) costs nowadays? unbelievable... a crime they let this place rot. and a shame :/
ОтветитьThis place is stuck in time.
Ответить👍👍👍
ОтветитьOdd how there's a Kenwood Amp, but all of the radios are seriously older. If the one man lived there alone, he must have been a serious recluse & just used that amp and a few modern appliances, but simply left everything else as was until he died or left. The wealthy don't usually just abandon such places. There must be a twist in the tale somewhere. Very nice to see inside. Thanks!
ОтветитьIt looked like a stick of butter was still on a butter dish in the tea cabinet.
Ответить1600s my arse
ОтветитьMy question is why was this house abandoned?
ОтветитьThis is sad to me.
Ответитьthis makes me teary eyed. like, you think about the people who once called this their home, what were their wants and dreams, who were the people they loved,,,its also proof that a house needs people, if not it just dies <3
ОтветитьI'd buy it, clean it up, reinforce and upgrade the roofing, have the chimneys swept and repaired, and move in. Looks like a great home to actually live in. I wouldn't repaint the interior,. I love all the colors and stylee.
ОтветитьWhat in the world makes you think this a ‘1600’s’ mansion?? It’s 19th century - at best. The interior is full of worthless 20th century would-be antiques… sorry to burst your American bubble…
ОтветитьThis video is awesome, but so sad to see the end of what must have been an amazing family tree.
ОтветитьI hate to be the one to say it but a lot of theses antiques must be worth a lot of money!?!?
ОтветитьDid you contact local authorities to fins out which family owns the building? If not, why not?
ОтветитьMore dummys break.into peoples homes.so.sic of this trash police need ro arrest these losers
ОтветитьI always feel bad for beautiful homes which are abandoned.
They are just waiting for life to resume with new inhabitants...
or end with demolition.
You missed sooo many clues there guys :0)

ОтветитьAlso, so many spirits must still be in the place they loved when alive.
