ОтветитьHow Angie, i tried cutting 2 inch squares on 12 by 12 , 25 squares in all. Although i used cotton and changed the default to more although it cut the fabric it left little uncut bits on the sides. Help
Ответитьyou are using heat and bond. It is not interfacing. It is an iron on fusible bond
ОтветитьSpeak a bit slower and get your Mic closer for better audio. You have got stuff to share but it can hard to hear
ОтветитьI really like this video I learned something new. How about adding a photo on fabric? Do you have a video on the process?
ОтветитьNew here so do you use like actual fabric like you buy by the yard in the maker or what? Also what kind do you use with the explorer

ОтветитьThat’s not fabric. That’s more like a canvas. I’d like to know how to cut letters, small, to make monograms. I have yet to find ANY information on how to do this. I’ve tried it a hundred ways and it’s very frustrating!!!!!!! PLEASE, a video. I can cut a heart with scissors!!!!! I don’t mean to sound like this, but I have this machine specifically to cut letters, small enough to use for a small name on a corner of a blanket. (I make Baby Blankets). Thank you

I am wanting to cut half square triangles for a quilt project and I cannot figure out how to either upload a half-square block pattern or how to draw one in the Design space 🤔 Help!

ОтветитьWhich machine should I use to cut out pieces to make doll clothes?

ОтветитьGreat video Angie. If I'm cutting felt on my Maker, should I put a protective sheet of contact paper on my fabric mat to keep the felt residue from sticking to the mat? Will adding contact paper ruin my fabric mat?
ОтветитьHi Angie. Is it interfacing you are using or something like Vislene bondaweb? My interfacing doesn't have a paper backing. But my bondaweb does. Thanks.
Ответитьcan I cut 2 layers of fabric at the same time on my maker?
ОтветитьCan you cut more than one layer of fabric at a time?
ОтветитьGreat video! I am considering purchasing a Cricut Maker. It would be for fairly simple shapes in large quantities. I am wondering...you cut out a heart shape from a piece of fabric. Is there a way you would have been able to cut as many of those shapes from the available fabric as possible? Could you have gotten six or eight heart shapes out of that piece of fabric all in one go? Thanks so much!
ОтветитьGreat video. Thank you so much. I been having trouble with cutting the fabric with my circuit explorer air 2. I tried using freezer paper but that didn't work. I been trying to find the material you put on the fabric before you cut it.
ОтветитьThank you! That was super helpful!
ОтветитьCan you use faux fabric on the pink mat
ОтветитьHi Angie! Question, we (my fiancé and I) want to start are own business making body stickers and pasties. Before we purchase a Cricut cutter we wanted to ask which cutter would probably work best? We do plan on using fabric (cotton) for our first few runs before moving to vinyl. Also, how would you recommend applying the adhesive to fabric?
ОтветитьGreat video! Thank you.
Question, what would happen if you try to cut fabric on an Explorer without the interfacing?
If I want to sew the bonded material to a shirt, will the adhesive on the outside activate in the washer/drier and mess things up?
ОтветитьGreat video. I have a Cricut Maker and I do a lot of fabric cutting. I've found that if the design has a lot of twists and turns (as in fancy lettering) the fine point blade does a better job than the rotary blade because the rotary blade cannot do tight, sharp turns very well. If you select "fabric" the Maker will require you to install the rotary blade. So what I do is, I select heavy cardstock, use a fine point blade and select extra pressure. I works beautifully. I always use Heat N Bond Lite on the fabric and remove the paper as you stated. It's the most durable going through the machine (and I've tried them all).
ОтветитьFinally found a great video on how to cut fabric.
ОтветитьHi Angie. I'm currently cutting calico with a rotary blade on my Maker and getting an awful lot of "shredding" on the edges. Any hints? It's for doll clothes and I'm not sure how it will sit if I cut with bonding attached.
ОтветитьHi , my cousin passed I want to make her granddaughter a sweat shirt and add letters from on of her shirt if I iron disable web and then cut on cricut cyan I then iron onto sweatshirt for the grandaughter ? Thank you in advance😊
ОтветитьI know this vid is old so does this work on Explorer 3?
ОтветитьHow do you download pieces to the correct size when cutting on maker for quilts?
ОтветитьThank you so much for your clear explanation!
ОтветитьAfter the last comment, I cut quiltt pieces and made 2 quilts, but pulling the fabric off the pink mat frayed the edges very badly. I lost nearly the whole 1/4" seam allowance in some instances. How did you do this w/o fraying? ??!!! I'm thinking og ironing parchemnt paper on the back, but that will ruin my cutting wheel. I'm loving your videos.
ОтветитьHi Angie, Thank you for this video. Its very helpful. What exactly is that sheet that you used as backing for the fabric before cutting?
ОтветитьWhat blade did u use and where can I get one
ОтветитьHi Angie, always love your videos. I have the Explore 3 so what setting do you use? On the 2 you have that dial for Bonded Fabric, but for the 3 there is no Bonded Fabric setting. Any help is greatly appreciated!

ОтветитьInstead of interfacing can I use fusible iron on fabric like Wonder under?
ОтветитьHelp !! I have the Explore Air 2. I have the fabric cutter blade and the pink pad. When I try to cut cursive words it shreds the fabric. I called Cricut customer service. I was told the Air 2 would not cut fabric except for 4 fabrics none of which were cotton. Please advise what I am doing wrong. Thank You Jennifer
