How many of these details did you catch on your first watch of season 3? What other easter eggs did you find?
ОтветитьOne thing I've wondered is how Adam eventually dies in any of the previous cycles to the "final cycle". Does he finally succumb to the injuries throughout his travels or die from something else? Is it ever explained or shown in any season or is just left to the audience's imagination?
ОтветитьKatharina’s mom smacks her on the head in the kitchen. Ulrich, Magnus, Marta & Mikkel all get smacked or smack each other on the head at points during the show, while at the dining table.
ОтветитьAlright so this one’s been driving me nuts about Martha’s scratch (not the mirroring).
OK… so my conundrum lies here as kind of a carry over where in the first few moments of season 3, mirror-Martha shows up to save/bring Jonas to the caves (unlike the alternate choice later revealed in which Jonas makes in which he dips it to the cellar, running along the “opposing side of the knot”).
Later on, Jonas and Martha are going under the fence where she originally gets the scratch and Jonas pauses and makes a comment about it, stating something like “you had that scratch when I met you” with a puzzled look.
So here’s where I’m stumped…
Right before they escape the apocalypse and Martha makes the comment “the question isn’t what time, but what world” she does not have the scratch on her face at all, whatsoever… not on the left side, not on the right side.
The very next scene of them is in the caves, where she clearly has that scratch from the fence. Despite being dressed the same, she looks far less composed and shaken in the caves (as if it’s a different version of herself—which is what I’m leaning toward as an answer) just before she promises to make it right and jumps again.
What detail did I miss here?
Dark deserved so many awards it never got, same as 1899! But of course they were ignored because although a better product and success Netflix had seen in later years they were German (OMG!) series and not American. I also think it was too complicated for America audiences, and of course, Netflix takes no account of the international success of their series.🙄
ОтветитьThe Emerald Tabet tattoo is always missed. Its plays a very signficant but subtle role
Ответитьi always gave dark 10/10 but after watching this video , i give it 100/10
ОтветитьNot to mention Noah and Bartosz also look quitw similar first time watching i legit thought That Bartosz and Noah either had Blood relation or Bartosz is Noah itself
ОтветитьNow I know why the show is called "dark". I can't see anything, just black screens.
ОтветитьDude way to go with the effort and thorough research. I’m impressed and grateful for the information. I missed a lot of things but it was confusing as heck half the time but what made it harder was keeping track of who was who at different times along with the names and timeline so this tied up all the loose ends. I had sunroom for the first two episodes and that had me confused since the dubbed and subtitles were not always the same and sometimes I feel like there was something lost in translation and could add or subtract to what was being said. I wonder if it was to help sync up the dubbing as best as possible or if the translation vs script vs what was said by the actors was different. Anyways I enjoyed the series overall and it had me confused and intrigued. Got to love time travel cause anything is possible.
ОтветитьFrustrating was Lisa Vicari's pant/gasping all the time (martha nielsen). And in season 3 there was a 3 to 5 minutes of the same tone at the start of the episode. It was a very good concept and series, but those 2 things.
ОтветитьWhat about two little girls girls in the starting of this video???
ОтветитьHere’s another detail: Remember the scene where Agnes is meeting Doris Tiedemann for the first time? Doris apologizes that her husband, Egon, wasn’t there because he’s a police officer. The next statement she says is (I’m paraphrasing): “He feels he’s responsible for all of Winden”. I thought about that statement and went thru the family tree again in my head. With the exception of minor characters & the following (and their older lineage): Katharina
Jana
Peter
Inez
Tannhaus
…. Egon is the father, grandfather, etc… for everyone else. He truly is responsible for all of Winden!

In the episode "The Survivors" young Katharina is listening to "Is This Love" by Survivor, the band famous for "The Eye of the Tiger". A possible interpretation could be that the title is used as a rethorical question, as Katharina's mother doesn't treat her daughter with love.
ОтветитьKatharina was killed by her Mother and Hannah was killed by her Son
ОтветитьI found a Loophole in DARK. When Jonas and Martha went to origin world , in the scene in where they were in bridge of worlds, they saw each other's younger self. And after that , Martha says to Jonas that she remembers that in childhood she saw someone in closet. So,it means when Martha was kid, there was future Jonas(young jonas) who was there to destroy worlds, it means it was already a part of cycle. But if that's the case, then why did future jonas(adult jonas who was from 40s) don't know about Martha of different world. So Either it's a part of cycle where Jonas and Martha destroys the world and the cycle continues or it's just a loop hole.
ОтветитьAll the most interesting stories they skipped over or never gave a great answer to.
ОтветитьLittle detail that I didn't miss is the phrase "eat the rich" was shown in season 3 and I literally watched You's latest season right before watching Dark and that was where I first learned about that phrase 😆
ОтветитьDark is great show, though it was tough for me to follow a lot of this stuff so it became disorienting...yet it was an uncomfortable facet that the kid characters are often in adult situations/postures, because unintended or intentional, there's pedo undertones.
ОтветитьWhat a complicated show. You really need a red yarn and lots of notes stuck to the wall to even try to comprehend all this mess. I made notes the 3rd time I was watching Dark and I think I understand the show, but maybe I'm too stupid to realise I actually don't.
ОтветитьI’ve just finished season 3. It’s worth rewatching everything again.
ОтветитьI just want to say that your pronunciations make me wanna die lol
ОтветитьNumber 12 couldn't be right because the Hannah that went back to the future to have the affair with Egon was the henna that stole the machine from middle-aged Jonas right?
ОтветитьThe french people who got hanged in front of the destroyed power plant at the start of S2, might be the scientists from the radio broadcast in the destroyed police station in S3 (?)
ОтветитьThe series was awkward, annoying, and too complicated.
Ответитьcan someone explain, when Noah tried to kill old Jonas he couldn't kill him as his future self exist ... which doesn't exist
but when Martha shot Jonas, he died ( not really ) but he died despite the fact his future self exist.
Speaking of Easter eggs, I THINK I saw the twin girls from the shining in S3, but I can't recall which episode. It was 1986 in the school near the stairs. Anyone else catch this?
ОтветитьHonestly, I thought these were going to be hidden, easy-to-miss easter eggs or something, but if you didn't notice these things, what were you doing while watching? Those details are the meat of the show. The mirrored Martha universe is the most obvious thing in season 3. The medallion and the watch are shown repeatedly. The family ties are one of the core ideas of the story. Sorry, but this list is not that impressive.
ОтветитьLESSON 👇🏾
In summary, time travel is possible in a 3-dimensional plane (space, time, gravity) but nothing can be changed since time only goes forward, not backwards…the end was always connected to the beginning (like a straight line—you can’t tell if it was drawn backwards or forward🤯). However Claudia was a 4th dimensional being (more evolved in her comprehension of the knot than Adam and Eva). And with that, came time travel. All that came before that is just deja vu and how we live within a simulation of time, with our fates sealed without escape….I’m sorry, but it is what it is!
It’s eve not Ava
ОтветитьJonas/Sonja - calm, rational.
Martha/Marek - emotional, reactive
The details in this show are just 🤌🏼
A lot of the explained videos I had figured, but a lot of these details I missed. But I will say I noticed the lady in the lake and pendant connections on first watch
ОтветитьNot an Easter Egg but... The Walther PPK must have it's own time machine since it appears so often. It's first appearance is the gun that Boris used in the robbery. Then when Jonah tries to kill himself after being cut down from the failed hanging, the gun is a German P-38. Jonah keeps pulling the trigger and we hear the clicks but the hammer never moves. Of course the gun was supposed to never work with Jonah since he can't kill himself.
ОтветитьKaterinas mom killed her ! What episode. 😮😮😮 omg I feel like I didn’t even watch this show at all !
ОтветитьMy head is spinning !!!!! 😮😮😮😮😮😮😮 omg ! Ok Ima need to watch this all over again
Ответитьoh wow i actually thought middle-aged ulrich and old ulrich were the same actor XD
ОтветитьThe tannhaus is possibly a reference to German folklore, where there are several stories about both a knight named Tannhäuser and a bard named Tannhäuser. In one such story, the knight named Tannhäuser is on a journey to an underworld fairy-like kingdom to see the pagan queen. The last step into the kingdom requires that he has to pass a set of swinging giant iron doors from which come the sound of the wind or 1000 voices. Later in the story, the iron doors are called "The Gate."
ОтветитьA masterpiece of a tv show
ОтветитьBest series ever. Well top 3
ОтветитьIs HG Tannhaus named for HG Wells, who wrote The Time Machine?
Ответитьwhen u thought video about Dark would make u clear things but it makes the things even more complex
Ответитьwhy was Helge kindaping all those kids???
ОтветитьThe phrase about having "the eyes to see and ears to hear" existed long before S. Freud! (Anyone in the upper echelons of Masonry, for e.g., will have said it for centuries.)
ОтветитьI think the name Tronte was used because it sounds like trente in French, meaning thirty. And there's always a 33-year gap between the different timelines.
ОтветитьBe cool to figure out where all the tech came from. Like portable time Travel devices
ОтветитьIt really is a trivia, but I was wondering about the very Polish first names of two characters, Bartosz and Marek. The have German surnames, and there isn't any hint why would they get such names, which aren't by any means popular among German population without Polish origin. There are also the Danish names Mads and Mikkel, but I guess they stand out less.
ОтветитьAm I the only one not being able to find the official site of the series 😁
