Thanks Jason, this has made my audio much clearer. My only issue is that it's bringing out the static noise, any ideas how to remove the static?
ОтветитьThank you so much!!!
ОтветитьThank you!
ОтветитьThanks a lot
ОтветитьReally well explained, Jason. Thanks!
ОтветитьThanks Jason!
ОтветитьAwesome!
ОтветитьThank you very much! Finally, a very clear tutorial, easy to follow and precise!
ОтветитьWhen I go into fairlight, open mixer, cannot see or find EQ. I see Effects, Effects In and Dynamics. But then I see Audio 1 and so forth. No EQ. Under the 3 dots to the right of mixer, EQ is checked on. What I'm I missing?
ОтветитьGood one! Thanks for the info.
ОтветитьHi Jason, which EQ Plugin would you recommend from waves for dialogue. Can you do a video on that, if possible. Thank you, much appreciated.
Ответитьhi sir,i am from tamilnadu india your my Davinci Teacher sir💐🤝
ОтветитьThanks again Jason, these audio tips have been very helpful without a lot of work. Perfect KISS (keep it simple stupid!!) Cheers. 🇨🇦👍
Ответитьreally helpful. thanks!
ОтветитьThanks, Jason. That really helped. I appreciate that the advice wasn't too technical as I can get lost quickly. This was something I can implement immediately.
ОтветитьBasic garbage, what a waste of time.
ОтветитьDude, you're so helpful. Thank you for the video! Appreciate it so much.
Ответитьmany thanks Jason you've answered a lot of my issues with this one video
ОтветитьGreat tip to simply adjust. Question: at the moment I am working on scenes shot in a church. The echo is very strong and I find it hard to adjust this. Any tips/tricks????????
ОтветитьHi Jason, I apologize that this question isn't exactly on the topic of this video, but I am wondering if you ever find that audio you bring into Resolve doesn't show the waveform in the timeline? This happens to me from time to time, and it makes it much more difficult for me to know when audio starts when making edits. Do you know of an easy fix for when this happens? Thank you!
ОтветитьHey Jason! Thanks for another great video! I know it's kind out of the topic of the video, but I just ran into a thing today. Whenever I change the processing order to any option where the FX comes last, the fader automatically changes to pre-fader metering. Is there an explanation for that or it's just a bug in 18.6 version?
Ответитьthis video is so much helpful i can't mention it in one word. Thank you.
ОтветитьGreat lesson... definitely this will help me a lot
ОтветитьWhen I use the voice isolation, the audio always sounds muffled and lacks clarity. Would these tips help for that or would you recommend other frequencies to make it sound better? Great channel btw. Thanks.
ОтветитьThanks! You are great, do you know how to save this like a preset for futures videos? Cheers from Italy
ОтветитьWow. This could have never been easier. 😮
ОтветитьGreat video, very easy to understand. One thing though, in a previous video about making audio better, you did the opposite when it came to the high end (cut them down). Is it a mic thing ? or should we always be bringing up our higher end? Thanks for the great video
ОтветитьAs a mixer on many docos I'm always dealing with dialog EQ. My tip is to start with subtraction not boost. Lav mics and boom mics in roomy environments have ugly chest or room resonance, usually around 200hz. With a narrow notch (bell) reduce that frequency first. It is amazing how that first step increases clarity. You can tune the frequency by first adding boost and sweeping the frequency till you hear the resonance of the frequency that is making the sound muddy. Then reduce gain at that frequency. Next step can be high pass to filter rumble then play with boost in higher frequencies. You will use less hi boost when you've tidied up the mud first. Also be aware you might need a tight notch around sibilance which sits around 6khz. Often a specific 'de-ess' plugin might be best used to fix this.
ОтветитьVery helpful info. Thanks so much!
ОтветитьSo good! My motorcycle helmet audio really needs this help, thanks 🙂
ОтветитьMan oh man, I gotta apply this and the last video's tips into my workflow! One day, I hope to get a comment on a video saying, "Man, your audio is so awesome!" ... right now, I get, "Man, your audio is so awesome! - for a half helmet." A small but important distinction ... and yeah, I know I'm setting a high bar for lower-quality input, but it's the challenge, right? :D
Ответить🗿
ОтветитьExcellent. Really helpful. I'll try this on my next video. Do you also have a video on removing room echo? On the video I'm currently rendering out for posting, I spoke into my computer mic in a room with some echo. Want to clean up the audio for clarity and for echo removal. Thanks!
ОтветитьPerfect tutorial
ОтветитьAnother great tutorial - cheers, Jason 😁🙏
ОтветитьJay, awesome❗Even I can do this now after watching this and your previous EQ video. Goodbye crappy vocals, hello pro audio. Thank you.
Ответитьplease make one videon on voice modulation preset settings (how each settings works) in fl.
ОтветитьYou're a genius buddy
ОтветитьAs always to the point but i have a question, if i automate the EQ for SFX in my video and if i need to start from 0 what should i do?, i had a problem in which if i want to reset the automated EQ all the work i made remain in that way i just cant reset to put the EQ line straight again.
ОтветитьJust in time...
ОтветитьAlways appreciate the tips and tutorials - audio is one of the toughest things to master IMO!
ОтветитьHey Jason, thanks so much for another awesome video. You made this seem alot easier than I thought it would be. I know you see audio presets. Will they just go and do these things like you showed automatically? Thanks and glad to see you are about to hit that 100K milestone. Well deserved!
ОтветитьSeems like perfect timing, I was struggling with my audio on a clip and its been eating at me.
Thanks!
Sir, your timing is absolutely perfect. Literally got delivered my Sanken COS-11D yesterday.
ОтветитьBuddy, you have been so helpful in my (and many others') audio journey. You make EQ and compression....easy?? Your automation tut at RC is still blowing my mind LOL. You are appreciated!!
ОтветитьVery good. Thank you!
