I hope this helps your golf!!!
ОтветитьMine is hit the ball first ✅️ but don't touch the ground after, no divot 😅
ОтветитьIf you’re having a problem with your golf game find a video about it from Rick!
ОтветитьYour video was a great help to me as a beginner to understand how to connect the club to the ball. One point that I noticed in the video but was not mentioned was the way you kept your left arm completely extended during the entire swing. I had been bending my elbow significantly on the backswing. This one change in my stroke improved my accuracy and distance enormously. It may be worth mentioning and demonstrating correct arm position throughout the stroke in a future video.
ОтветитьI’m finding the weight transfer during the downswing quite difficult, I’ve got everything else sorted.. but the moving my weight forward during the downswing is where I’m going wrong..
Can anyone help with this? What is the sensation to know I’ve pushed my weight forward?
Nice Rick thanks
ОтветитьGreat stuff, ty
ОтветитьGreat video!
ОтветитьThank u so much. So helpful 👍
ОтветитьHow far do I stand away from the ball to hit it properly?
ОтветитьI always strike my irons true. Its my driver and 3 wood that i slice the crap out of.
ОтветитьRick do you have any clips on your Anchored right foot until after impact?
ОтветитьWhen you say push are you pushing off back leg?
ОтветитьThankyou Rick!
ОтветитьThis guys changed my game in 2 videos omfg!!!!!!!!!!
ОтветитьShould a 4 iron be in the same position as an 8 in your swing
Ответитьgolfswink ;-)
ОтветитьThanks for the tips
ОтветитьThis advice stinks - used it and still shot a 135 - thanks for nothing!
ОтветитьThis video woukd be perfect with slow motion hits.
ОтветитьRick the one thing i cant find on your page: some people set up their irons at a pretty strong angle, whereas you always seem to have the shaft level/in line with the ball. Whats the deal here?
ОтветитьRick,
Played in a small tournament today. I used your pre-match putting tips. Helped tremendously. Thank you. Jon
very good teaching very clear explanation for the beginner thanks !
ОтветитьThanks for the video but it would help if you can please provide the full swing in slow motion so we can get the full visual
ОтветитьHave not found a complete video pointing out the keys to hitting the ball pure with irons. Not even this one! You cover ball position and the back swing and down swing. What was missing was your arm position both lead arm and trailing arm (I use these terms because I'm left handed). The lead arm is straight all the way to the top of your back swing. Your trailing arm is bent with the elbow tucked in next to your body AT THE TOP OF YOUR BACK SWING. Also in your back swing is where and when to load your swing by cocking your wrist so that the club is 90 degress to your forearm. Now getting to the downswing. FIRST movement is with your hips unwinding before any arm movement keeping the club loaded still 90 degress to your forearms. That rotation will naturally start bringing the club down into the slotted position were you can release your club and wrist excelerating the club bring it back to your starting position. I'm looking for a video that shows this type of detail with training drill at all these key positions.
ОтветитьIf your hands are going to be forward like this on impact shouldn't you line up the club before the shot like this so you ensure you club face is straight?
ОтветитьLove the video. Few things i want to ask, so when you swing, do you drive with your right or left hand? and also in terms of positioning, it seems your heaad is 1 ft away from the ball directly on top right?
ОтветитьThanks for this Rick
ОтветитьThis is going to be a big one for me. Been playing now for a few weeks. Just started keeping track of my own ball/own score (vs best ball/scramble with buddies), lots of room to improve and iron play is certainly one of those. Saving for the future on this one!
ОтветитьGreat video. Savig this one for sure.
ОтветитьI PROMISE to CHRIST, I watched your video today before my 1st EVER tournament and out of pure frustration trying to “fix” myself!!! YOU FIXED WHAT I THOUGHT COULDN’T BE REPAIRED, I played the best golf I ever have today and placed 2nd in my first tournament EVER!!!!! Thank you sooo much
ОтветитьYou are the best Rick. Simple ways to hit properly
ОтветитьGreat videos. Question, after you give verbal and physical instructions, can you do a slow motion swing?
ОтветитьStarted out my year amazing based upon really focusing on the set up videos! Simplified my game playing my best golf because of this! R. Shiels GOATED
ОтветитьThe first and most important step with irons is, do they fit your swing, body stature and ability. I see most recreational golfers using the wrong irons. Get properly fitted for irons and not at some demo day event or your local sporting goods store. Shaft flex, length, type, weight, soft or hard stepped, clubhead lie angle and loft, cavity back, muscle back or blade style. Build a good swing, then build your irons according to your swing. This game is not about how good you hit the ball, it’s how good are your misses. You cannot hit 10 consecutive perfect shots.
ОтветитьRick, as someone returning to golf after 25 years and back then there was no real content to watch online, I've found your advice on the videos invaluable. It makes me realise that I really did not know what I was doing, one way or another! Although I wasn't a terrible golfer back then, at times it didn't look pretty!! Together with modern technology at the range and the precise nature that you use for instruction, I'm hoping to finally get out onto a course and play again. Thank you, keep doing it!!
Ответитьthank u rick
ОтветитьThank you brother I dialed in a P wedge directly after watching this, good on you mate 👍🏽
ОтветитьGreat video mate
ОтветитьThank you! Been golfing for 8 months, taught myself watching your videos. Just shot +5 the other day. 👍🏼
ОтветитьTo good Man real Champ
ОтветитьThis video is going to help people years after it was made just like me I started about a month ago and your videos are so helpful, nothing is long winded and poorly explained you get straight to the point and with perfect examples! Thank you.
ОтветитьThanks again
Ответить😀😀😀😀😃😃😃this helped so much! thanks a lot rick
ОтветитьJust started playing golf, as soon as used the tip that the golf club should be in front of the ball at impact I’m hitting everything straight and clean everytime!!
ОтветитьThank you Rick! Your videos are always really helpful! Good job man keep it it up!
ОтветитьCame here because you absolutely fixed my driver swing with your videos
