How do you feel now knowing you were fighting for Israel and protecting poppy fields and destroying iraq, left it worse than before,or are you still in denial, believing you were fighting for Americans?
ОтветитьHow was training / predeployment training and how did it change from deployment to deployment?

ОтветитьI've never tried but it should be easy to dig up archived and backdated Google satellite imagery
ОтветитьI was with Small Craft Co in Iraq, 2004.
We were tasked to patrol the Euphrates and did so with two platoons split: one in Haditha and the other in TQ and Iskandyriah.
We assisted in securing the Blackwater guys pre Operation Vigilant Resolve. We also participated in Operation Al Fajr (Phantom Fury). If you ever saw military boats with .50s, 240s, and Mk19s, on them, that was us.
Cheers.
Semper.
I have been doing a lot of research about Operation Phantom Fury lately. As for where 3rd Battalion / 1st Marines - Kilo Company was stationed, the information online was a bit flaky. Do you know if 3/1 Kilo was stationed at Camp Abu Ghraib? That is what I found out, but I don't know anyone personally who would be able to confirm this. Thank you very much.
