Anonymous Swiss bank accounts for foreigners are a thing of the past, they have to exchange information with your tax authority. You have to go to Singapore or Macao for something more "discreet".

Most banks won't open accounts for non-residents (non-residents represented by a local/domestic Trust or corporation, OTOH, might be a different story). Some will.....for a non-negligible annual fee. HSBC in the UK, for instance.

It's not a billionaire bank account you fucking morons. It's a regular bank account but UBS asks for a specific amount to be deposited depending from which country you are, usually between 50k -100k. it's not that difficult, you just email them and they get back to you, then you visit them, sign some papers and you're done.

You can totally open a Swiss bank account as a US citizen, a few have no minimum balance requirements, but most of them do and it is typically $1 million US dollars, which is more than the average US citizen has available to stash away.
