Surprised u didnt mention some of the smaller but important lines - Andor says Luthen might be Alliance, among others - but the Alliance doesnt exist yet until Mon Mothma's speech...?

My initial response to the first three episodes was negative but, as it turns out, that feeling was due to tiredness and not being able to focus.
Having rewatched the first 3 episodes with refreshed eyes and a more awake mind I absolutely love the series.
This latest episode has me fully invested, I loved seeing the ISB headquarters and hope we get to see more of them, perhaps even Colonel Yularen at some point.
And the artefacts in that gallery??? Is that a set of Sith warrior armour on display? Looks very similar to the armour worn by Starkiller in the dark side ending of The Force Unleashed.
Now we’re getting into the murky depths of spying and espionage and I am all for it.

I was totally digging on the whole ISB vibe this show was giving off. I love this is a show that your really have to unplug from everything else and watch. It demands your attention in a way that a small gesture or statement could have a bigger impact. Its not a show you can kind of just have on in the background and tune in with things start going bang.

100% would not be surprised if Mon's husband is going to toss her to the wolves.
Luthen's literally living a double life and i don't know which one to trust! Who's the "real" Luthen!?

Love everything about this show
Yes it’s a bit slow, but I’d take slow and competent storytelling over whatever happened in kenobi and bobafett

This show isn't for the casual audience, it dedicates time to building characters, setting up events rather than rushing from one action sequence to the next. It sets up rules and structures for the plot to unfold in - the characters don't act like they know they have plot armor, and that is so refreshing. It feels like it's made for fans like me, who always cared about the greater universe of star wars, and used to read many of the old EU novels and Dark Horse comic books back in the day that did so much for world building and fleshing out characters.

I'll be honest: I liked this episode so much more than the first three. And not just because of the references & cameos, I just didn't care for them for some reason.

Karn’s mother is the fourth Star Wars character (I know of) to be played by an actor from HBO’s Rome

- Fenn Rau: Lucius Vorenus
- Gar Saxon: Titus Pullo
- Corpo executed by Cassian: Timon (Atia’s Jewish servant)
- Karn’s mother: Charmian (Cleopatra’s personal aide)

My heart is so divided with this show. I love the quality, the cinematography, the world building. What I do hate is that it feels like we should be getting more in an episode. We get teased with so much, then out of nowhere "Directed by...." Its torture! I would rather get an entire arc now, then the next arc the week after, or in 2 weeks.

My only issue with this episode is that it ends abruptly. I know they are three episode arcs - it seems like the pacing might be better if they dropped each three at once. it's a minor complaint though because I still loved the story - I just want more of it. Now.

In the age of entire series being dropped at once and instant payoffs, it’s easy to forget that even in the days of The Clone Wars and Rebels, we had to wait an entire week for each episode, with many of them being three- or four-episode arcs spread out over as many weeks. Everyone just goes back and binges the entire series forgetting that this was the case when it first aired. Current shows shouldn’t get crap for wanting to do the same thing, as much as it is a struggle to wait!

This is a Star Wars made for adults of Star Wars fans back when we were kids.

I take joy that Star Wars as a whole is now diverse, that it can appeal to a "broader audience". I'm seeing Andor doesn't sit with everyone, but we now have a full buffet of Star Wars to enjoy where people can pick out their favorites.

I agree it's a bit slow but it's a thing to interduce certain things as a hystery as to how things happened and why the rebellion is and how they fit to the story as we know of star wars should be fun for me I am a star wars fan since day one a long long time ago when inacence was a galaxy far far away
Indeed don't agree with all dysnys additions I do see new ideas and explanations to the star wars universe they need to slow down a bit and not move to fast there are back stories to all of star wars and it's characters what's to be bored if your not a fan of course I am impressed with the new ideas even if it's not all from George Lucas however he breaths the very life into it or nobody could see how this adventure goes together as a whole that's genuine genius all I say now is strap in and take off to another adventure I will like to see how he actually does aquire K2S0 he or it was a fine character to have to be killed off to soon

I understand the business incentive to do episodes each week but for a lot of modern series that aren't really designed around being episodic I feel like it can have a negative impact on the narratives of some of these shows. Same thing with Rings of Power (weird controversies aside), some of the plot and pacing elements feel like they'll slot together so much better when the full seasons are out.

There's so much intrigue, I love it! I couldn't believe that episode 4 ended when it did. I fully expected it to keep going. And speaking of easter eggs, did you notice that the ISB headquarters models the ancient je'dai temple on Tython that we saw in Mandalorian S2, The Tragedy? That was super cool to me!

A friend mentioned the show was boring so I was hesitant. After watching it, it is great boring. The dialogue and characters are amazing. I love how this show relies more on those two things than amazing battles. I love how we see real people in real situations in this universe. Honestly, this is the first time in which I really feel transported in the Star Wars universe.

Rael is a Gray... probably a Paladin or Jensarrai. He will Not be the "1st to Fall". When necessary Luthen will just 'dissappear'.

He is aware of all his artifacts significance, but (Keystone) does not know how to/or care to operate the device. Would need to be on Lothal in order to use it at the now-buried portal.

It is known that some grays still resided at the Jedi Temple (Coruscant). As a lesser known jedi/gray he fled the temple and hid in 'plain sight'.

The kyber crystal probably powers his 'cane/lightsaber.

Starting late (wanted to binge all at once since it has been running during a busy time for my and week to week wouldn't work for me) and as of halfway in, as someone who shares Alex's love of grounded, personal stories like this, I have been eating up this show! I love seeing the ground level point of view steadily escalating and I cannot wait to see the second half and eventually season 2 as everything rises to the events and scale of Rogue One and the Galactic Civil War that is the Original Trilogy

All I have to say is YES! Finally, some Coruscant scenes that are NOT fringe or underworld. Great to see ISB, and the range of characters and subplots is almost too much... but I mean that in a positive way. So much going on, and a good mix of action, intrigue, and mix of new and established characters is going great. Like a live action version of the Clone Wars cartoon after the rise of the Empire. Andor is awesome so far and I can barely wait for the next episode. 🙂
