I really dont understand this. everybody is talking about details and instrument separation, and all the music played all the time is slow and consists of very few instruments at all. how are we supposed to distinguish how speakers tackle big orchestras and music with more tempo?? I have noticed that slow music with very few notes sounds usually good on any hifi speakers, but it never tells me if it can handle more big and bombastic music. that is where many fail.

haha yeah like someone below said, most all of that music was mixed on JBL, Genelec or a pair of Yamaha NS-8 studio monitors that cost far less than these. Some of these are only that expensive because they only sell a few pairs a year and have to live on that.

I think best comparison should be like: same music,same room, same amplifier (that might be debatable) and blindfolded people preferable half of them audiophile and half of them regular person and they rate the performance of these speakers. So this test might yield closest objective results.

Why play soft lame songs only? To Stress Test for Quality and Durability, I use Slayer and Slipknot songs, even videos ... Let's see if the Expensive prices are worthy.
