ОтветитьThese are great ideas, thank you for sharing.
My kid’s school is doing teacher appreciation week May 22-26.
I bought this pretty picture frame and was able to get the fingerprint of each student in my daughter’s class and have them write their name next to their fingerprint and then I painted a tree on the glass, the fingerprints are the leaves of the tree. I personalized it with the teacher’s name, TK & year and signed my daughter’s name to it. I got the idea from Etsy.
I knew mugs and tumbles were overdone and also often see my kid’s teachers at the local coffee shop. One drinks iced coffee, my kiddo made her a coaster from a plain white ceramic tile from Home Depot, painted it, I put scratch resistant feet on it. My other kid’s teacher gets hot coffee so I got her a coffee warmer! I nailed it, lol.
I found adorable beach/picnic bags at target and also found beach/picnic blankets that roll up and have a handle and found matching beach towels with fringe, they’re all by that brand magnolia hearth and hand.
I’m also working on two auction gift baskets for teacher appreciation week, I started a movie night basket with an outdoor projector and inflatable screen, and a little nostalgic popcorn machine with popcorn and all the fixins and, of course, candy from Dylan’s Candy Bar, I found a huge beach/picnic blanket and put it all into a pretty basket I found at TJ Maxx and wrapped it in cellophane.
I’m thinking the second raffle basket will be a pampering basket. Gift certificates for the best spa nearby for a massage, facial, mani/pedi and a gift card to a local restaurant. I’ll have to find some goodies to put in there like the Bath and Bodyworks hand sanitizer, you mentioned and some candles and lotions.
My kid’s school is going all out for teacher appreciation week and I think it’s great! Each day the PTA has organized a breakfast, lunch, and roaming snack cart in the afternoon! I volunteered for the roaming snack cart because I think it will be fun to deliver snacks to each class!
On Friday there’s a pizza and ice cream party but Monday they’re having sushi, Tuesday is Mexican food,
Wednesday is BBQ, etc
A note from the student mentioning anything positive from our interactions whether it was something I did or said or something they learned is more treasured than anything.
ОтветитьSuch a great video 👏 thank you so much 👏 you seem like an amazing teacher 👏
ОтветитьThank you for the idea.
ОтветитьOur family has always enjoyed putting together a family night popcorn bucket for their teachers. A large/popcorn bowl, a small variety of theatre candy and some microwave popcorn from Dollar Tree, my daughter likes to pick a bargain bin movie and I’ll add a $20-25 gift card from Walmart so they can choose a movie of their liking or use it for something else. So that they can enjoy a night at home with their family.
