Awesome video. Thanks for sharing these tips!
ОтветитьDisassembling the buggy is absolutely genius, basically a carrier orni without having to get the carrier
ОтветитьThe fremen deathstills will give you more water than you know what to do with!
Ответитьdeathstills, blood runs and the dew collection when needed and i havnt had to use anythng else. Building near a camp or intel point helps as well.
ОтветитьI plan on having 3 full bases where would you recommend having each base my current base is right next to anvil close to enough iron i can fill my buggy pretty quick and i can get to a carbon area easily i also just unlocked the deathstill havent made one yet the dew reaper i use daily to fill up some literjon
ОтветитьSolid advice my dude
ОтветитьNeed endgame advice like what to craft first with spice and plastanium
ОтветитьAs a duo that refines buggies worth of materials every day, we've only needed two deathstills=50,000 water per hour. That's all you need. Just two. And now I've upgraded them to the advanced=90,000 water per hour. We have about 600,000 water storage now and all we have to do is remember to put in new corpses when we think of it. Don't be afraid of the power. Power is cheap, especially when you have a buggy. So are big bases. You get so many fuel cells from lasing one fuel block. I do one corpse run per day with the buggy. Super easy especially if you purposely pull down the sardaukar. Free water raining from the sky.
We did plenty of bloodbags and scything in the beginning, but there's just no point now.
I'm solo and hugely disagree with you about death stills. Dew reapers are only effective at one time fo day, you have to carry the water and deposit it manually and its hugely inefficient. Deathstills are a game changer, I have three running off of fuel generators. When i go on an ore run I also pick up fuel and road kill some guys to pop in the boot. Three birds with one stone. I start refining my ore, put fresh bodies in the juicer and go farm some crystals for Dura and swing by the high tier loot chests. Rinse repeat, build an assault Orni for deep desert base hauling.
ОтветитьMight want to consider using AI to narrate. Just saying ..
ОтветитьI’m playing solo since launch and watch many many videos, I’m stuck on iron and this video was the best I’ve found to guide me into steel tier
ОтветитьWow, thanks for saving me a lot of head scratching and time, subed.
ОтветитьThat first tip.... The hours I could have saved grinding ore.
ОтветитьAs long as you are located even slightly close to an enemy base, deathstills are by far superior. The requirements for it are worth it, power is fine as well if you harvest batteries with your buggy, with the first generator being ridiculously time efficient. With a mk5 laser on your buggy you get more than a full stack of batteries in 1 go. Which powers a generator for 20 days. (Havent use the dew scythe at all)
ОтветитьThe dew reaper is kinda useless when some a-hole build a base on top of the flowers...
ОтветитьTo expand on the farming water, i personally use 34 literjons, its cheap and can carry enough early game and then you can make progressively more and more bigger ones, also, try timing the dawn to get the optimal time and it only takes a couple of minutes to cap water
Ответитьone of the best collection of tips bravo!
ОтветитьI thought the vehicles that use to spawn in world got taken out?
ОтветитьThank you sm for this guide brother , you’ve definitely helped me maximize my work flow being a solo player 🫡
Ответитьim some what a solo player the deathstill is beneficial in the long run but not at the beginning cus of power i recommend focus first on power "preference the first windmill" cus you dont need spice for fuel.
Ответитьhonestly i just found it easier to get an ornithopter by just doing the main quest line and maxing out your atriedes rank by doing the atriedes quests..... itll cost you 125k to buy all the intro ornithopter parts, and you make enough money doing the quests that itll pay for itself once you make it there. Also, theres a good chance you find the odd ornithopter part in a chest as your doing the quests. All the mats you farm on the way there can be used for better weapons or gear, AND you get your bird eventually at the same time
ОтветитьStop making windmills for power. The beginning power generator is cheap and you build them into a wall so theyre out of sight and use the seif to replenish. Literally throw down 12-20 power generators and call it a day.
Ответитьthe improved blood distiller and mj2 blood bags have kept me in tons of water
ОтветитьBlood -> deathstills solo. Dew is waste of time. 3 normal deathstills are enough to keep up with water needs early-mid game solo, 5-6 advanced deathstills keep water topped up at 2-3M later on. And since building more deathstills is a pain to manage the power (can't live off just basic generators anymore; I do have 3.8k power with just basic generators in my base, but 10 deathstills would require shutting off everything else when making water) it's going to be pretty much the same for guilds too, just maybe spread out through more than 1 base.
Dew might become a little better when we get 1 button deposit for water, but it's still easier to get some deathstills going with iron, than get enough aluminum to make multiple decaliterjons. Deathstills would always be more time-efficient too (1 body = 45k water, and the total active time spent per body can't be more than 1-2 minutes).
P.S. Buggy doesn't really cost that much water, so blood is definitely enough to get there. With buggy, basic deathstills are very trivial to build, advanced ones are more of a long term investment, since they will forever remain best source of water.
I didn't know about the generator even distribution, thats a great tip! Thanks
ОтветитьThis is the best video on this topic (mid game)
ОтветитьThanatos a lot ! Whats build You use for fly ?
ОтветитьI just log in before work, cap someone and stuff him into the box to be turned into water. I also do the same them before I log out. I only have one still right now, but there are some scavengers dying to get their own.
ОтветитьYou can't always rely on the dew plants being there after a Coriolis storm. My base was by 4 of them, but after the coriolis storm it went down to 2
Ответитьnot sure why there is no mk2 on the power plant, I dont want 30 generators in my base.....
ОтветитьI'm just about ready to move on from my Iron/Steel base to your proposed Aluminum-focused base. But you say to make the Medium Ore Refinery before I go. I don't understand... why waste 125 Steel Ingots to build that refinery in the base I'm leaving? Why not put it in the base I'm going to?
ОтветитьWatched a few tutorials about Dune, being a solo player for now, but this is the best, no nonsense one so far I've seen. Thank you very much.
ОтветитьBlood extractor is very good once you get the larger extractors. Blending it with the large reaper and death stills gets all the water you need early. The wind traps are best when you know you will leave the game and want to top off
ОтветитьThe buggy storage idea is good on paper, but in practice it is not so hot since the buggy takes up 10x the space in your base.
ОтветитьI like the server me and my two friends are in, we've all been steadily teamworking, banging out reasearch and items between us, honestly it feels like the most genuine "teamwork" I've felt in a game in years, if you're on Helius Gate, Sietch Legg, look out for the base between a pillar and rockface right outside of the entrance of the Hagga Rift crevice, just above Imperial Testing Station No. 10.
ОтветитьAs a solo i use 11 advanced deathstills. Bring in 495,000 ml of water every 50 minutes. Fill it up twice and i have enough water for the entire day of what ever i want to do and still have some left over for the next day.
ОтветитьAwesome video. Ty so much!
ОтветитьThe Decaliterjoin's are HEAVY.
With all my gear, weapons, tools..etc. I'm using about 35-40% of my inventory. With the Decaliter and 2 large blood bags I'm using 65-70%
