this season this hero have been my favorite.. i used her as an second carry gameplay with tank items .. with a talent a fighter on the exp lane. all of my item are defense..shes pretty powerful at early game.. i think ill try the malefic roar.. my only problem with her is she's weak at pushing and struggle at late game..

Can't agree with you more when you said squishy Hilda is useless because she dies before she could output the damage she equips. ;)

I like playing tank Hilda in rank and don't add damage items but like to try malefic roar though as an early game item. Thanks for this Hilda guide..

If you play Hilda, you need to be aggresive all the time.. I only build malefic on her for damage, the rest tank items.. I don't see my Hilda to be a damage type, coz even if she is on a Tank build. She stills make damage tbh

removing permanent stack was worse things that happened to Hilda.I am in 4 years of relationship with Hilda.

I'd say that malefic roar is the only attack item you should buy and the fill the rest of slots with defensive items. Even with only malefic roar she can easily deal over half of squishy enemy's HP with her second skill and 3rd tank emblem talent.

Just came here to hate on lesley and aamon, you can't do anything to them since your skills are all target lock.

I just got her zodiac skin. Trying to learn her. Thanks for this! I hope they optimize the skin it looks underwhelming

New hilda can also be played like roaming natalia with hybrid attack and def build 😊

Malefic roar is better for hilda than BOD because not only it's cheaper, all heroes have higher physical defense than magic defense.

I prefer guardian helmet than bloodlust axe, the consistent heal it provides at late game can reach 60-70 per second. It's ideal for 1vs1 (not to mention the heal outside battle)

Demon hunter helps her damage against tanky enemy by a LOT. Endless battle isn't good for her since she already have HIGH damage and doesn't need much attack items.

Finally, there's no items suited for playstyles. You only either want to increase her damage, or make her tankier. Or maybe I just don't understand :v thanks for listening : )

Since each skill2 cast is followed by a basic attack isn't it at least worth it buying endless battle or thunder belt?

How about buy hunter strike for the first attack item? then buy malefick roar at midle game
