All. Violin price how much
ОтветитьAside from cosmetics, it doesn't seem like there's been all that much performance improvement in electric violins since the old Fender FV-1 -- given a decent amp and a pro setup, of course.
ОтветитьHelp guys. I don't seem to be able to use my Yamaha YEV 105 wirelessly with my Katana Air! Are they not compatible or am I missing something?
Ответить#1 Yahmaha has the most classic sound. Others sound colored at best, clouded, or slightly muddy at worst. Sound + features + comfort should be first (with aesthetics secondary, though still important). =) Thanks!
ОтветитьI think the most beautiful, the best tone and the easiest to tune is The JORDAN
ОтветитьHi. I actually bought an NS Design NXTa 5-string Electric Violin based in part on your videos. It hasn’t arrived yet but I was wondering how you hang it? Or do you just keep it in the case? My wooden violin of course has a scroll and hangs on a form attached to the music stand but the NXTa has no scroll.
ОтветитьI have the red Stingray SVX4
Ответитьwhere is the store
ОтветитьWhat are the prices of each?
And which would you recommend for someone who played for 4-5 years 10 years ago. And wants to get back into it
Couldn’t you plug the YSV 104 into a pair of mini-speakers instead of headphones?
ОтветитьThank you, I’m in the market for a electric violin and your vid help me to decide what to get 👍
ОтветитьI love this that I still come back and rewatch all the older videos 😂
ОтветитьThe Yamaha YSV 104 could be played live with a little creative thinking. Sometimes you have to think outside the box.
ОтветитьElectric bowed instruments seem more beginner friendly due to the sturdier construction. Why not restring a Violin with Octave Higher strings? The 4/4 Scale High E6 String is under really low tension to prevent breakage.
Ответить680
ОтветитьIs the YEV-104 a good choice for a duo who mainly does outdoor street performing and also cafe/wedding type venues for smaller groups of people (ie no more than 20-30 people)?
ОтветитьSince the YEV is made of wood, can it go out of tune by playing outdoors in a warmer/more humid environment like a normal acoustic violin? Also can I play it through a normal speaker with 1/4 inch inputs like the Bose S1 Pro as opposed to a guitar amp?
ОтветитьFor the Yamaha and Ns Design do you need an amplifier?
ОтветитьI've always wanted to learn to play the electric violin!
ОтветитьS A C R I L E G I O U S
ОтветитьCan the Yamaha YEV be used for silent practice like the YSV104? How similar is the hand feel of the YSV 104 to an acoustic instrument?
ОтветитьThe ysv104 certainly DOES plug into an amp. Just need a mini jack to jack cable, from the headphone out to an amp. Plugging in direct from the violin to amp doesn't work, you need the preamp. Maybe it would work with another preamp, I haven't tried that yet. The yamaha preamp has sampled modeling, not sure how that works but it sounds great, through headphones or amp.
ОтветитьNS design wav5 or Yamaha yev .. which would you recommend
ОтветитьYou could have used a aux cable from the headphone output to the camera LAV input.
That is if you're camera has one
Anyone have any thought on HEV2 Hindersine electric violin????
ОтветитьI think the YSV 104 is just what I want.
ОтветитьWhat wireless transmitter and amp do you recommend for the YEV?
ОтветитьWhy aren't their bowed instruments with coil pickups like the ones on electric guitars?
They're passive and have mega output. There's plenty of flat-wound steel strings on the market too.
i bought my violin from you about a year ago. your shop is like the heaven for all violins. i hope to be able to visit soon. ed.
ОтветитьThe Yamaha YEV looks great and I’m sure it’s good quality being Yamaha. It looks so fragile though. The wood looks so incredibly thin I feel I would break it in no time. Any thoughts on this?
ОтветитьI need a violin that has something on it that will allow me to attach a harness or strap, like how electric guitars have that little pin that you can hook a strap on it. Any recommendations?
ОтветитьHi Matt. Are there any NON clip on electric violin tuners that can be stuck on or built into the instrument?
ОтветитьHEY GUYS! Just learned about Electric Violin Shop -- I did notice that you are usually Amazon's "go-to-guys" for Violins, started to wonder why -- did research on you and you seem great! I already have my violin but will check you out for my next. I have a Question -- since you did such a great job introducing us to violins, can you PLEASE introduce us to Bows and Must Have Accessories for Violins?? I need that info -- my Electric Violin didn't come with a bow or anything else. I'd like a HIGH QUALITY bow that makes sense for an NXT. Thanks!
ОтветитьHey Matt, what electric violin would you recommend for an intermediate player who's been playing for ~10 years?
ОтветитьThat Stingray is sooo coolll
