Why not materialize? If you seen them sleeping you can tp over to them, and on top of that while your in the floating state the jump scare doesn’t make you move (just the camera can’t move) 🗣️‼️

Necromancer can work as a counter too! Because if you have zombies and poltergeist uses the scare you can swap with zombies and if projectile you can also swap or use the hokd a ability as a shield of zombies, it works like swapper but i love necromancer better

Another counter is sparky because can outrun the objects and the m1 doesn’t affect you.

poltergeist is like the ultimate glove aslong as they are in ghost form they CANT DIE

Rojo is also a good counter as the orb is gaurenteed to hit them as long as you have good aim

btw larry and polter makes best combo

If you get the barrel glove from the box, the barrel’s ability does damage to the zombie boss and the zombie will go for the barrels.

For people that are struggling to get poltergeist:

1. Get ontop of the tree on the new island. This gives you lower chance of being targetted.

2. Jump and slap the zombies. This makes it so the zombies dont attack you sometimes.

3. At the bridge, attack them sideways. This makes it so you get kills way more easier.

4. Once you have enough points to get mystery box, get it.

5. Repeat 3. and 4. if you dont have good gloves.

6. Once it’s round 10, someone will lure the zombie boss and someone will attack the zombie boss.

One glove he forgot to mention is Quake. Since the devs still have the quake slam coded as a slap (for whatever reason), your giant range will wake up poltergeists. Great for waking up multiple poltergeist users.

Don't forget hitman is actually a good counter now all of you might not agree but it's actually true hitman is a gloves that needs to kill people that has a lot of bounty slabs on top of their head if you kill people that has a lot of bounty you will get a lot of bounty for the ability and plus this is actually a good counter because if the poltergeist user turn into a ghost if they try to get closer you instead of knowing the colour change of your screen you can see there will be a slap on top of their heads this means you can run away from them and you can know where they are and this means you can try and slap them and your ability will be cancelled so hitman is a counter not great or top counter but just only good it's ok if you don't agree guys but still I think hitman is good to defeat poltergeist

Slap battles was a great game but the mod team is to strict this update was sadly the last I played before getting banned. Don’t play this game it sucks ass

Using materialise works , it can fully counter the scare ability before or after it is used and if they place an object you can just go away

How long will the event last?

For real when i use poltergeist i just fly and collect candies

Bilify if u use megarock in the body they either get stuck or then just fall down u can use the ability again to kill them

Hey i think u missed the most powerful glove that will be god counter with poltergeist, that is "Hive" glove.
When u slap someone while they using thier ability, hive will instantly kill them no matter where they are.
*It maybe just a bug or an easter egg idk*
