Brilliant teaching mate, studied A+ and Net + many years ago for my MCP but never got a job in IT , I have always been a computer geek and am so interested in the CCNA stuff just feel at 55 yrs oldie may be too late for me now .....but I'm still trying to learn now thanks to you. Thank you 👍
ОтветитьI absolutely love your videos. You are very good at keeping people’s attention. I especially liked “you suck at subnetting”.
I’m hoping you can answer a question that might be easy for you…
I have a switch configured by someone that didn’t necessarily know how to do it and it was one dedicated to my CCTV network.
I configured the cameras and the NVRs. A guy connected them to a switch he configured.
When I am on any computer on the main network (different IP completely), I can’t see my cameras. My cameras are on a different network.
How do I tell the switch to allow the main network to access my cctv network? I can only access mine from the cctv switch when I change my computers IP to the camera network.
Any help you provide would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!!!!
Is this course still going on?

I also haven't seen the setting to see the keyboard shortcut mappings and how change a certain shortcut. This is making me go insane. Can anyone please help? Thank you.

ОтветитьI don't get one thing that he just fully skipped in the video
At first the switch doesn't know which port Computer A or B live on, so when Computer A sends a packet to computer B, the switch knows and learns from the source address which port Computer A is on (as he explained), but still has no idea where Computer B is. I have read that it then does "flooding" where it just simulates a hub by just sending the received packet to all remaining ports because the right one has to be among them. I mean at some point Computer B will have to send a packet over the network but if it didn't?
But in Cisco Packet Tracer I don't see that simulated? Or is there just an in-between step that was already performed at the beginning, before we went into simulation mode?
So all traffic from laptops connected to the wifi network at an office are being broadcasted out to all other wireless devices connected to that particular WAP? All the of the management at my company uses wireless laptops, this seems like a potential issue?
Ответитьi though the switch send its message to all ports and then the recieving will acknowledge the message by sending that i had recived the message from the sender..
