Free ad-supported streaming services launch in Canada

Two new alternatives to traditional streaming services are making their way to Canadian television, as Pluto TV and CBC News Explore launch.

They're both free ad-supported streaming television (FAST) channels. This type of streaming platform has been in the U.S. for years prior, and there is hope it can change the way people consume their entertainment in Canada.
