Rogues’ mental and emotional control is insane. She absorbed Kitty at that state, i mean she absorbed what she thought and her emotions at that moment too and doesn’t break down or overload.

This was for the best. To rescue Rogue so she could take Kitty's place. If they die, Rogue got to spend her last few minutes with Logan. And if their plan successes, the first thing Logan will see when he wakes up is her. Hugh Jackman and Anna Paquin always had a great on screen father/daughter chemistry.

So you know, I don't understand why the cut Rogue's part out of the film. I figure it has something to do with the bad reception of X3... but still this was a whole story arc that was being completed here... and bobby was gonna just die anyway. So why not just leave it in?

I love this version for two reasons:

1) Obviously having Rogue being the one to tenderly hold Wolverine’s head is much more emotional than Kitty considering their bond from the previous films.

2) It also really ups the tension because Rogue can only borrow Kitty’s powers for so long. They were already running out of time but now they’re under even more of a crunch.

Rogue should've been fighting Sentinels instead of that discount Night Wolf. It was their last chance to show her flying and smashing shit with superstrength and they blew it.

So Rouge was cut out of days of future past? She should have just Flew Away Home. 🦢🏡

I always felt the sentinels using raven's DNA was a little off because she didnt copy powers just looks. They using rogue made so much more sense. Dont know why they took this route.

Anna Paquin was never right for this role. Rogue has a country accent. This movie came out after True Blood ended so it's not like she couldn't of used her Sookie Stackhouse accent. She was never right for rogues outgoing flamboyant nature. She never used the word sugar in all of these movies. The whole cast was almost all wrong. Iman should of played Storm. Angie Everhart should of played Jean Grey. Tim Thomerson should of played Magneto.

Why was this cut from the final film?! Bringing her back to close out the saga seems too fitting!!

Never liked the Rogue Cut. It took away Ice Man's original death which I beleive was so much more impactful.
I actually prefer this version over the Rogue Cut. Watching him melt and Kitty Pride's reaction was when I finally broke. The Rogue Cut makes his death so much less emotional.

By the end of the first movie Logan and rouge really gave me a kind of father and daughter vib and I wish they had continued with that between the two.

The downside of the Rogue cut is that it implies that Iceman dumped Rogue in favor of Kitty because of the lack of physical intimacy instead of Rogue being dead

I mean it’s cool but it also does it makes sense because rogue lost her powers she gave up her powered so she can be normal

Even though this was one of the best xmen movies I still pissed off they cut her scene out and once again heavily relied on wolverine which for me personally ruined it
