Agree with all the pozzie comments, plus UR cute as a baby rabbit
Maybe you could you sit at the keyboard & just quickly play each chord or suite of notes bcuz we'll hear each of those tones

I’m enjoying these lessons. I’ve been taking lessons for 3 years and this helps me review the basics from a different perspective and I appreciate you!

You said the double sharp was an x in front of the note in sheet music, what's the symbol for a double flat?

I am probably on wrong track, I can see what you are doing, but cannot understand. Are you using that formula to say, in the case of E, to convert it to follow how the 1, 3 and 5 would appear in a minor scale? But in E minor the G is not flattened…
Are the dim and augmented converted into how another scale would find them?

Or perhaps are these minors, aug and diminished chords separate entities from minor scales?

Literally I'm understanding things for the first time with you explaining it... I had already "learnt" circle of fifths, and triads, and scales, but... I knew nothing until I saw your videos. I love the simple approach, the patience to teach something that you know perfectly well, but know we don't at all... So being explained this in such a step-by-step fashion, even repeating "obvious" ideas, has been SO HELPFUL for me. I'm a quick learner, but I need a good method, and yours is perfect for me. THX A LOT for your content.

Really appreciate your knowledge and explanations. I am currently learning guitar and while the basic theory of music is the same. How the guitar is "structured" allows for "movable" shapes. Is it possible to show/demonstrate some music theory using the guitar instead of the keyboard?

Honestly, such a great video Gracie. In fact, I've watched two others and they're just as brill. You break things down and demystify so much for me. Thank you.

Can I ask, how do you remember all those scales off the top of your head? Is it just repetition over years or is there some sort of technique you use to recall them? It seems like the most helpful thing in the world to be able to remember the scales at the drop of a hat.

Also, how would you recommend practising these chords? Practise all 4 C triads, then move on to another key?

Thanks so much again. You're a superstar

I assume in the vid that the aug/dim chords were aug/dim MAJOR chords and that there are aug/dim minor chords too and these are easily found by applying the same logical rules Edmund

Question: I think you mentioned earlier that a flat is used in reference to the scale, so how can you have a scale that starts with a flat if that makes sense?
