Nyx's design reminds me of Eris from Sinbad, Legend of the Seven Seas. With the blue skin and flowing black hair.

The child that Nyx asks Hypnos about, was in fact Zeus!! After Rhea hid her son away from his cruel father, Cronos, a goat named Amaltheia came and provided Zeus with nourishment from her udders.

Nyx wasn’t evil, she was just the most profound personification of night and darkness. Doesn’t lend itself to cheer, but it doesn’t have to mean malevolence.

Waou j'adore Nyx me fait beaucoup penser au personnage de Eris dans le dessin animé Sinbad la légende des 7 mers. De façon générale y a un grand ressemblance de le style graphique je trouve. le rendu et vraiment super bravo.

So wait...why does the animation look like it's from Disney?! It's a cute story, but the characters look very 2000 Disney Cartoon.

why do i feel like Nyx is a bad person in this. I hate any portrayal of her as a villain i mean how can you hate the night. was still a good animation though.

I get that this is only a cartoon and meant to be for entertainment but it honestly breaks my heart how people portray Nyx. No being God, Goddess, or Primordial Ones were ever truely "good, or bad". It all depended and depends on how you treat them and work with them. Im pagan and i work exclusively with Nyx. Since having her in my life and working with her i have NEVER felt as if she would try to harm me or my loved ones. She has warned me when i have forgotten my duties or forgotten to acknowledge her within my days but she has ALWAYS been such a comforting presence. And she was a wonderful, protective mother to her children. Even my children have found comfort with her. She is the mother of many and this depiction of her honestly hurts when reading the comments and so many are saying that shes a bad mother in some way..... yes in this depiction she is. But please mind that the real Nyx is nothing like this.
