Have you ever had a silog dish before? It stands for:
"si"-sinangag (garlic fried rice)
"log" - itlog (egg)
Add your choice of meat in the front (longganisa), and you get "longsilog"
I’m sorry but why do you have more ulam on your spoon than rice. That is so not Filipino of you /hj
Ответитьin the provinces that breakfast is about 2dollars..manilas a rip off
ОтветитьWemen
ОтветитьMinimum income wage in PH is 10 USD / day with 8-9hrs shift. One meal there is almost half of there daily salary lmao
ОтветитьYou probably got scammed, 1k for all of that? Nah there are many local vendors(?) That cell less than everything there combined
Ответитьwhat foreigners don't consider is per capita income of the country. the people don't earn in dollars so 6 dollars is a lot for some. just google per capita of the country n u will have a general idea of how much they earn 😒
ОтветитьDon’t use God name in vain! Godbless!!❤
Ответить‘Mangos here taste different’
PHILIPPINES HANDS DOWN HAS THE BEST MANGOES EVER-
Please learn about the Government from Jehovah God❤ that will SOON bring true Equality and Prosperity to All who become His friend @ JW /Jehovah's Witnesses
ОтветитьRich Kids... Silog meals are like 90php or so, mango juice can get that for 50php
ОтветитьStop comparing the prices. The salary in the US and in the Philippines is different.
You should compare the salary of the people in both countries viz-a-viz the cost of the food.
Conclusion: The food in the Philippines are expensive.
Cheat code: Run a successful business in the US while living in the Philippines.
ОтветитьSainyo mura, samin hindi namin afford ganon.
ОтветитьAh, the power amd advantage of having an powerful currency. 😢
Ответить$2-6 is already a robbery.
Real Filipino breakfast costs less than $1
Your paying for cozyness & ambiance still you ate an overpriced Filipino breakfast try those authentic roadside eateries ask ordinary people like taxi drivers, laborers, construction workers where's they eat cheap & tasty meals.
ОтветитьHeller...of course, it's cheap compared to the STATES..$1 DOLLAR is like $55 pesos..the average Pinoy can't afford that..prolly make $8 a day
ОтветитьCheap price but also cheap wage/salary. I think minimum there is like 550 pesos a day... so it's about $11 per day, not per hour, per freakin day!😢
ОтветитьOverpriced!! 3x the normal price!
That place is a tourist trap nothing more
A very insensitive video by an ignorant person about world economics and poverty
Ответитьlooks yummy 🙂
ОтветитьMais con Hielo is one of my favorite🥲
You should mix it thoroughly, as well as the Halo halo. Although I don't like Halo halo that much xD
Well people sell those on the street and it's cheaper. Eating jn restaurants does cost a lot
ОтветитьYeahhh No. You'd be cooking more and eating the same dishbfor days if you lived in manila and worked there, minimum wage ain't gonna pay for that 5$ breakfast and even if you do have a job above minimum wage, 5$ is still a lot for a breakfast.
ОтветитьLol try going in an actual province and you'll be eating meals good for a week with that price
Ответитьpucha! lugaw 148 pesos? hahaha
sa Makati ata yang bikers cafe na yan. 😂
You haven't tried Chades tapsilog
Ответитьit's realy neber a good idea to watch anything like tjis at midnight.
gotta buy tapang taal early tomorrow morning. 🤸
it's so "MAHAL"
ОтветитьPorrige made of oats cost 148 pesos? Tubong lugaw indeed!
ОтветитьYou're spending dollars from a rich country to a poor country. The minimum wage here is only about 500 pesos per day or about 7 to 8 dollars. Depending on the exchange rate. Spending 3 dollars for one meal or 2 dollars for one drink is not something that the majority of Filipinos can afford on a daily basis. For the majority of Filipinos, it's considered a luxury when they can eat in a restaurant with a menu like that.
ОтветитьAnd those are the Manila prices.. Go to the province and you get shocked again :D
ОтветитьWait what 12 to 15 a plate and 5 for shake?? Hell no
ОтветитьGarlic rice...😍... that sounds yummy 🤤
ОтветитьA lot of money like 200$
ОтветитьWow
ОтветитьLugaw with langaw is only P5 😂🤭
ОтветитьWould you say, it Heather
Ответить$20.00 is a great price for the food 👌 👍.
ОтветитьYou would probably end up cooking the easy to cook foods and ordering the rest. You would spend way less than eating or ordering out. There are cheaper priced restaurants out there that don't skimp on quality.
Nobody should have to cook unless they enjoy cooking.
Hehehehehe. Enjoy. If you ever go to Tagaytay. On the way to Taal going down - they have cliffside bulalohan or coffee or chocolate eateries. You can bring other food or drink stuff with you but make sure you order something there.
If the sun is setting - order a coffee or anything. Sit back. Enjoy the spectacular view. Slow down your breath. Just enjoy the beauty of nature. Feel & project your gratitude to God. Life is good at that instant...
thats expensive, you can go to unli rice restaurants for less than 2 bucks
ОтветитьIt's cheap if you're earning in dollars. Remember that the basic pay here in Philippines is only roughly $10 per day
ОтветитьFilipinos are broke af
ОтветитьMan, I wish I can eat 1000 pesos worth just for a breakfast
ОтветитьWow😮
ОтветитьYum 😮
ОтветитьStop sugarcoating. This is way too expensive.
ОтветитьIt makes sense cause it's a restaurant for prices to be that high. Anyway, in our small village you can buy mango shake for 10 pesos and cook up porridge at home. ❤
ОтветитьYou grew up here and prices did go up a bit since you left, but it's still cheaper than in the US. you shouldn't be surprised as i don't think this is your first time back since then.
Ответить
