Grimek is in my mind the APEX. So thick, dense, powerful, yet graceful, and largely natural. Amazing.

Interesting note. William Murray fought in WWI, got gassed, but survived and died a number of years later. He used his win to promote his own bodybuilding shows prior to the First World War, and then he promoted shows after the war had ended.

Sigmund Klein--OP pronounced it "clean." (Should be pronounced like 'kline').

I wish there would be a division that would be inspired by classical and neoclassical statues.... would be an interesting concept to put into practise. Natural mass with a thick waste.

If you can believe in God Jesus why not Hercules might not be as strong as they say but when the average male was 5/4 hell if he was 200 pounds he would be God like or maybe he was human and alien cross like Sampson and the other demy gods.

Absolutely brilliant information that you've just posted here and things that I didn't know so for that I say thank you very much much appreciated bro 💪🏋️‍♂️🏅 And I think what the IFBB did to Sergio Olivia was terrible they just screwed him over which was disgraceful and no wonder he ended up hating the IFBB and rightfully so

The guys in the 40s are the first unnatural guys.
Testosterone was synthesized in 1935 and the guys in the 40s were noticeably better all of a sudden. And doctors just handed it out until it because scheduled by the feds.
The bodybuilders after that just started using more testosterone and more compounds to get bigger.
And then the size jump in the 90s was because of insulin and GH.

But the guys in the 40s were doing test only. That’s what I believe.

Im 95% sure Sergio Oliva was the first to start taking steroids for stage, and every single person in IFBB followed suit. Thats why Arnold looks like a different animal compared to all the guys at NABA

It is worth to mention I left the female side of bodybuilding out of this video BECAUSE I plan on doing a ''History Of Female Bodybuilding" video in the future. Also with so many years to cover in this video, many names were left out.
