I loved this video, It was nice to see you both working on the gate for the farmer at the end, even though I know you missed being able to sit on the steps of the bridge. The masons are working so hard to meet the deadline and they are doing a beautiful job. I wonder about the stone lions, can they be restored?
ОтветитьOff topic, but I'm amazed how the availability of affordable drones has changed how subjects are filmed. We see activities from angles that once could only be dreamed of, or if done only with a huge budget!
ОтветитьMaravilloso 😻
ОтветитьDon’t you love it ! Instead of the servants of old , you now have robots to help with the gardens of the château !
ОтветитьBeautiful!! When is the wedding? 😊
Ответить❤
ОтветитьA. sure way to keep fit.
ОтветитьI though your father was Richard Attenborough...
ОтветитьLove your show but it seems like your reparations on that second side of the roof is taking way longer than the first side. Anything going on there?
ОтветитьLove these videos. The music, the beautiful house and grounds, your soothing voice narrating. So relaxing! But I’ve often wondered….did the driveway entrance originally come through the large gates or was it always where it is now coming in from road? In period movies they always ride through gates like that coming to a chateau. If it has been changed I wonder why and win? I’m a bit of a history nerd. 😉
ОтветитьTruffe is gorgeous.
ОтветитьThe orangerie is looking very tired.
Ответить👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
ОтветитьIn essence this is a wonderful project, it’s returning a lost history of construction to the modernisation of the Château. What is more important is the future financing of the annual maintenance required to maintain the Château, that can be a headache but it’s something you both need to work on. My best wishes for the wedding and happiness for the future. Stay healthy and safe 😊
ОтветитьI love the father/daughter moments. So much work has been done along with the highs there is the low of ANOTHER thing falling. Thank you for letting us see the ups and downs.
ОтветитьSo in love with your creations!! ❤
ОтветитьI always wondered how those round bales were made. Fascinating 😀
Ответить👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼Go, go, go! Getting closer and closer!
ОтветитьSo beautiful 💎💕🙏
ОтветитьThat's a very sweet new wallpaper you've put up! There's lots of progress and your excitement is infectious!
ОтветитьThis channel is simply the best! Such great progress, so much talented restoration, wonderful production on the video….so wonderful to watch.
ОтветитьI sure hope you take some time off following the wedding to enjoy all you and your craftsmen have accomplished! 🥂 —Adding all best wishes for you and yours in these happy days.💝
ОтветитьWow. Looks incredible guys. What huge progress you must be so stoked. Can’t wait to see the wedding with this backdrop ❤
ОтветитьI just love watching this renovation. I am so amazed at the progress. Every attention to detail is full of loved and appreciation of old things be they stones or walls. My admiration for Felicity knows no bounds as she sets up the scaffolding and knocks out that ceiling and wallpaper! You go girl! Big hugs to dad for all his help. You two are just beyond amazing. I hope your wedding is equally spectacular and that everyone truly appreciates all your hard work.
ОтветитьThank you for another beautiful video. So much progress outdoors and interior. Love the wallpaper so much. Tim’s mother will have a beautiful space. ❤🇦🇺
ОтветитьCould it become a future glamping site?
ОтветитьWedding Day is fast approaching! Hope we get a few glimpses into this special Day 💍👰♀️🤵🏻♂️🕊️🥂🍻🍾
ОтветитьWill the statues on the end of the bridge be remade like you did for the busts located on top of the roof? What were they. Lions or lambs or something else?
ОтветитьI so love how hard you both work and variety of tasks you tackle each episode
ОтветитьI’m wishing you the most amazing beautiful wedding day. Sunshine warm summer breeze friends and family!! The house will be alive with people music and love!!!
Ответитьto think some of this soil may have seen the light of day since the Pumon was built. cool.
Ответить‘Stone glue’! The progress on the bridge is phenomenal. Love the slight rescaling and colourway of the Auguste wallpaper - very elegant. PS what a pleasure your drone work is (or is it the mower in ‘fly mode’ 😊?)
ОтветитьEvery week I am blown away with the work progress and the quality of the work. I still and mulling over on which remote lawn mower to buy. I think I am leaning towards the mulching model. Do you have any thoughts on them? Are the new stone caps for the walls from the same quarry as the original ones? Also, is their shape the same as what was made originally? You two make the Energizer bunny look slow! Cheers!
ОтветитьWatching today I began to wonder, with all the long grasses are Ticks a problem in France in general and in your area specifically? Looking at the lovely Mme. Truffe I hope not!🙂
ОтветитьWow!!! Flic has a great set of pins under those overalls!!!!! 😂😂😂😂😂❤❤
ОтветитьI never knew you could repair broken stones the way your stone masons did. Such talent. Happy you have help with the farmer and robot mover. What a time saver it must be given all the other jobs to complete. The wallpaper is gorgeous and you were glowing with happiness and excitement when giving us a peek. Looking forward to next week 😍😘
ОтветитьCan you show us on the blue prints which rooms you have completed?
ОтветитьI’m concerned you will be the most exhausted couple to ever say “I do”. Every week I am so impressed by your work ethic, patience and commitment.
ОтветитьLooking forward to next week ❤️
ОтветитьYou are truly doing an amazing job with this restoration-hope your wedding is the fairytale you both deserve
ОтветитьYou two are tireless. What do you eat that gives you such energy?
ОтветитьSo wonderful that your father is there to help and advise ❤
ОтветитьOmg that staircase with the Fleur-de-lis decorating it. Please tell me you are going to g to restore it just as it is, it is magnificent!
ОтветитьYou’re surrounded by farmland. If I owned all that property, I’d definitely lease whatever land was appropriate to a farmer while working on the building. I watch a lot of our generational family farmers in 🇺🇸. Farmland is a precious commodity in every country. It’d be some extra income & the farmer tends to the land. Hay is extremely expensive in 🇺🇸bc of droughts in several states.
ОтветитьIt’s so lovely to see your dad back and helping you. (Love the wallpaper!! ) The white roses in full bloom are looking spectacular too. You’re looking almost wedding ready!
ОтветитьYay! Under 100 rooms, way to go!! So excited :)
ОтветитьTim and Flick - thank you so so much for the mission you have undertaken in saving Chateau de Pernon and the beautiful way you are documenting this reawakening for the rest of us.
I wanted to let you know I was walking by my local Farrow and Ball store here in NYC last week and was blown away to see the Purnon papers gracing the entrance wall! It felt surreal to be able to see them up close after watching on your channel!
I found myself telling anyone in the store who would listen the origin story of the papers and what you are both doing. Blush! But I realized in that moment how much you have inspired and impassioned many of us watching your admirable journey.
I just wanted to say thank you! We are behind you and eager to learn more and support you.
With gratitude
Such a beautiful place so majestic I would love to live there back in the day amazing place great job with restoration ❤😊
ОтветитьThose masons are God's! Watching the amount of land that needs mowing and cutting for hay just makes me think of the man power and time it must have taken in the past. Mindblowing. Days of work instead of hours. You both are putting so much love and work into saving this beauty. Thank you so very much!
ОтветитьWe never thought we’d see the day both the roof scaffolding was removed AND the bridge was…also removed. I know it sounds silly, but surprised at how the ENTIRE bridge needs to be completely deconstructed in its state in order to be rebuilt. At long last, some huge milestones. I couldn’t be happier for you guys and so close to your wedding and I couldn’t be more ravi to see the transformed, like new, results!! Miracles can happen.
