The boomers was mostly affected by Regan top down economics that poured massive money to the rich and corporations. At that time baby boomers were between 24 and 32 so the massive direction was brought on by the previous generation elites and their privilege children mostly white. The problem with boomers is that they are people. People don't like change because it means devoting a less and less plastic brain to learning new things. Unfortunately change is the only universal constant and that is why old people from any point in history tend to suck.
