1 life and a dream
Ответитьthe last game was nutty!
ОтветитьHoly crap that first match was so boring. Such long turns and endless combos to do nothing but bore your opponent into conceding.
ОтветитьI just don't like the singleton nature of the format.
ОтветитьCGB really woke up this morning and said to himself “do what you love and you’ll never work a day in you life” 😂
ОтветитьMooooore brawl ❤
ОтветитьMy favorite part was when you used Jace
ОтветитьThis is exactly the kind of magic I love. Unfortunately I’d have to get on mtga to play it
ОтветитьWhy don't they add a ranked brawl option though?
ОтветитьBrawl needs a ranked cue ASAP
ОтветитьI will never financially recover from this.
ОтветитьDamn my guy… No disrespect, but it is DEFINITELY time for a trip to the barber.
ОтветитьLove the spread of love for Brawl & u ofc !
Also, i feel weird you dont use "Choice of Fortunes" like at all :/
Still keep it up <3
Splash white into it for deification to make the various jace all unable to die to being attacked lol
ОтветитьI’ve been playing around aetherize in brawl so much since it came out and they never have/run it, thanks for getting the word out so I’ll stop feeling unnecessarily paranoid
ОтветитьI'd uninstall on housemeld.
ОтветитьOnly problem I have with brawl is I started Arena not long ago so it requires tons of tokens for me
ОтветитьIt makes sense that Brawl is the most fun 1v1 format, because it takes the things that make Commander fun and puts them in a duel to death.
When I first started on MTGA, I didn't want to spend money yet, so after learning the game and trying to grind my way up the Standard ladder, without just netdecking and grinding Red Deck Wins, I figured out that the most efficient way to play the game f2p was Standard Brawl.
You only need 1 of each card, meaning that it costs 1/4 the wildcards, whether you are still collecting the cards or have one of each. It's very easy to make changes or upgrades to your deck by only spending a few wildcards.
And I'm thankful I did that, because I quickly learned that I enjoyed the mechanics of Brawl way more than regular constructed. The standard brawl decks I used back then hold a special place in my heart. (My commanders were mainly Liesa, Forgotten Archangel/Kaya, Intangible Slayer and Falco Spara, Pactweaver)
I still enjoy playing standard brawl to this day, but after I started to spend a little bit of money and played a lot of limited, which helped to actually grow my collection, I've given actual historic Brawl a chance, and it's been fun.
Despite their mechanical similarity, historic Brawl and Standard Brawl are two very different formats. I personally like the general experience of Standard Brawl a bit more, but historic Brawl definitely has its own charms.
I played a Helga, Skittish Seer historic brawl deck after Bloomburrow came out, and that was a great time. In Standard Brawl, I chose Baylen as my commander at the time, and that was probably some of the most fun I've ever had with the game outside of playing commander or custom formats with friends. I didn't use Baylen as my historic brawl commander because I felt like it was a bit too degenerate of a deck, and Helga didn't have as much of a fun deck available in Standard Brawl.
Edit: changed "shroud of dusk" to "forgotten archangel"
Q: How many Jaces do you need?
A: YES!
The problem with Brawl is that I feel like I need to play for a few years before I have the depth of cards to put together a fun brawl deck.
ОтветитьSol'kanar terrifies me as a commander. It has such a strange deck.
I still remember seeing it for the first time in Standard Brawl, after playing many, many games, and not even knowing it exists, let alone that it's standard legal.
I'm glad that CGB is actually releasing more Brawl content. Commander-esque formats truly are some of the best formats in the game's entirety imo.
Ответитьgave it a chance, watched the first game.. it was soo long and nothing happened, no combat.. only 1 attack.. not my cup of tea... and with no ladder, why are we even playing this? .. sorry but no..
ОтветитьWhat a brilliant MASTERCLASS on blue magecraft. Thank you!
Ответить"Some you like that! ... Right?"
lolz
Honestly Cunning castaway is like a full cheerleader squad, don't do nothing but he looks cool :P
ОтветитьNGL, as a person who've never played magic, the reason why I didn't watch your Brawl videos is lack of intros that Standard has, because I don't know what is going on in those, lol.
Ответитьi hope u face nothing but mono blue from now on
Ответить"You too can have fun with this deck! For the low low price of 50 mythic wildcards"
ОтветитьBaby Jace!
Ответитьlongest intro of my life
ОтветитьGreat intro to the deck. Helps very much with understanding the format better
ОтветитьFor what it’s worth, I love it when you take the time to do a longer intro. ❤
ОтветитьThis.
ОтветитьU are sick! ❤ that's a compliment, but also... dude, u are evil!
ОтветитьThats some killer value right there.
ОтветитьLove that you're doing more BRAWL videos!~
Ответитьonly scoops 😂😂
ОтветитьLegit question: Is Brawl and Commander the same
ОтветитьNew meme token on four meme! Be the first to invest : CRY/BNB
Jordan crying meme coin 🤣
"this isn't commander"
no wonder I keep losing in brawl
Thank you CGB you have rekindled my spark for blue.
Ответитьi love that u have made my favorite edh deck into brawl baby jace tribal
ОтветитьI prefer Standard brawl and I'm dying on that hill
ОтветитьI really enjoy the brawl content, especially when there is a deck intro!
ОтветитьWhen I face a monoblue deck in brawl, I insta concede and go next because it's just a waste of time and frustration
Ответитьthe long intro reminds me of the old days.... it was honestly so nice :) and Brawl is my favorite content of yours; i don't play myself just because of all the crafting since i didn't start playing until 2021(?) and some of the staples/personal faves would be a lot to invest in (though, probably just excuses at this point). however, definitely LOVE watching you play!! and it's for sure a breath of fresh air from the same 'ol boros or mono red turn 4 death on Standard ladder. PLUS, i also find you, and myself, smiling more- who knew there was still genuine enjoyment in the game? lol. i really hope more ppl will give it a try, even in regards to just watching <3
ОтветитьTell them to give brawl a ranked and ppl will play
Ответитьyou gotta try Brawl, it's sooooooo good
Ответить
