There’s an electronics company here in the States called Phenix. They’re located in Accident Maryland. We have a couple of pieces of their equipment in our shop. All the adjustment knobs go up to 11 and I haven’t been able to talk to anybody at the company who has heard of the movie. At this point I’m wondering if it was a joke with the founders and has been lost over time.

The engineering stuff i usually watch is on a much larger scale, thus my question: do think your work is harder because its on a smaller scale?

What mill is this - seems like a bit of a funny arrangement but neat!

I think machining a groove at the end of the knurling to remove the chip and clean up the end would have worked well to remove the unsightly transition.

I've been trying to resin 3D print a custom guitar knob, but i can never get the colors correct. The knob isn't white enough, and whenever i paint the embossed text, i end up messaging up the knob... I wish i could commission someone smart like you for this knob...
