come to the UK one day and visit Somerset where cider was invented and perfected, don't ask for "hard" cider as it doesn't exist, all cider is alcoholic, non alcoholic is known as apple juice, some is sweet, some is dry and some like a good scrumpy will put you on your ass and is served in a quarter pint only.

Bend, Oregon has several breweries. Most suck. lol Deschutes Brewery, if you stick to the Black Butte Porter and Obsidian Stout, is awesome. Try and get some from Bend. I agree about IPA's. Piss water for yuppies.
