I have one question unsplash say you can't use free images photo as your book cover because they don't have right of that. But if I ask permission from the person who is owner of that, who click those photo and put it free...than can I use it ...is it okay?

I'm very confuse for using these images for my commercial projects....Because some of the photos found on these sites are also selling on Shutterstock and other sites. If they are free then why these images are selling on other sites. So I m confuse should I use these images for my commercial projects or not....please clarify this....I m very confused....I want to use images for commercial use for my book covers.
