Man your vids are what got me into console modding. Found a GBA at a local thrift shop for $6, did the IPS screen and USBC battery mods alongside a new Arctic white case. More recently I breathed new life into my childhood GameCube with an SD card reader in place of the disk drive. It's so much fun and it's all thanks to you dude, so duck to you!
ОтветитьI think this is the same one I'm about to buy and repair
ОтветитьI really love that 'Duck' ;) -- Out of curiosity, what did you use for paint?

ОтветитьDuck! Glad I found this video now. I found some Game Boy Pockets like those on ebay. Would you say they are repairable?
ОтветитьI thought I was the only one to back out every screw or bolt before tightening to prevent cross-threading, considering no one ever taught me this procedure.
If it's already cross-threaded and/or cracked, I drop superglue down the old threads, or just use duck tape if I'm just too lazy.
I can't believe you didn't go for the Duck option in the end, but it turned out great.
ОтветитьOf my DUCKing god this was amazing

ОтветитьDuck 😂
ОтветитьHell I would have said paint the front case as well! great work.
ОтветитьDuck. 😊
ОтветитьWhen spraypainting try to put something under the item to have it a little elevated, so it doesn't stick to the surface you put the item on. You can always try to heat up glued parts to get them off easier. Duck.
