saw this video in 2021! Very excited to see Gnomon was a legit place to make purchases! They had the best prices on Squale watches and I have been trying to get my hands on the Squale Heritage and unfortunately I couldn't find it anywhere except Gnomon and now i feel a bit more confident to pull the trigger. I am new to the watch community so I dont know what to look for with shops so this helps!

The triple b the better Business bureau I'm from the United States I was born and raised of course. The better Business bureau is a joke you pay to get into that to get your top ratings. I wouldn't trust the better Business bureau for anything.

Hi excellent videos, bravo.I have just purchased a rather expensive Steinhart from Gnomom. Because its a Steinhart I just assumed wrongly that this was based in Germany and I am also in the EU. Gnomom website is a little vague about where they are based. Yes it does say in a deep dive into the site Singapore but I only found out when I tracked the watch by DHL tracking that it was coming from Singapore and not the EU. Consequently I have been hit with a massive import duty payment !
So fellow watch novices because that is what I am a novice in this field, take care.

I just want to ask a question, actually I have so many questions because I'm a teenager and I really love watches, back to my question, as I can see on your "Amazon Watch Buying Guidelines" you said that "try to buy directly from Amazon", does it mean that if I saw "sold and ship by Amazon" it means that the seller is Amazon it self, and can I guarantee that if I buy directly from Amazon the watch is Authentic?

Gnomon are safe??? Really TGV? You are promoting these shoddy people? They post a watch as a JDM model, send you a non-JDM with a box missing items and completely get out of the radar to answer your questions/concerns and you call them professional? I seriously question that.

I ordered a Bulova Special EditionLunar Pilot 98A186 from The Watchery, last week. It's real and new, etc, but it came in a half assed box with only one little booklet for some generic instructions. No warranty card, no tags, not even a plastic film piece on the lens. I'll keep it, it's flawless, but there's something very sketchy about these companies. I checked out Gnomon and joined. Thanks for info TGV. I learned something new today!

Gnomon is definitely a proper brick and mortar shop here in Singapore. Their address is on their website (millennia walk shopping centre). Been there many times, bought straps from them.

i bought a seiko from gnomon which had a fibre like dust inside the dial which can be seen clearly yet they send me the watch which cost about 800 usd .. so that is the last time i buy from gnomon

Make sure you research THOROUGHLY the manufacturer, model, venue (eBay, Amazon, etc.) and even the seller BEFORE you start browsing the sales or auctions.

LOOK at ALL the photos carefully! ASK for more photos or photos of specific areas (crown, dial, bracelet, strap, back, etc.) if you need to, and a good seller will provide them.

Beware of flying fashion seller on amazon they are a big scam non of their products have a usa warranty and they dont offer any customer service. They are not even authorized for a single brand on their store. its all gray market items so if anything you have no recourse.

Bought one Laco munster from Gnomon, It just took 4 days from Singapore to Melbourne, very fast and good service.

Gnomon watch is a scam!
They have the worst return policy I have ever seen in any company. You have 24 hours to inspect your watch or else gnomon refuses to take it back.
I made a purchase with them and I emailed them before hand to let them know I’m skeptical about ordering from Singapore as I’m in the US. I was trying to make sure the watch I received was perfect. Anders Tan assured me that all of their watches are checked twice before shipment and all their watches are put on a timer machine to ensure accuracy.
Low and behold, I received my watch and it’s running +19!!! It’s an eta btw.
Atrocious. Okay whatever I love the watch so I figured in the future I can take it to get properly adjusted but then the watch was having problems with the crown. I emailed them and Anders immediately starts dodging my questions and he answers me with questions. Pretty much Gnomon was trying anything to make it seem as I caused the watch defect. I sent the watch in for warranty let’s see how long it takes for them to fix. Did I mention I had the crown defect within 15 days of purchase? Gnomon watch has a 14 day return policy. Unacceptable. Any reputable American or European company would have replaced my watch no questions asked. I will never purchase watches from Gnomon ever again and you shouldn’t either. Lol. I had to also pay $40 to send the defective watch back to Singapore, thanks Anders Tan!
