The first half of the rap is pretty wholesome.

I think a lot of people are missing the context of Disney’s inclusion, basically it was partially a middle finger from personal experience because this was around the time they bought Maker Studios which owned ERB at the time which they would then proceed completely gut and basically laid off everyone

You’ve made videos and songs that are better than this one, that have better rhymes, and more brutal takedowns, but I don’t think any will ever make me feel like this one. The first time I saw it, that Disney verse took me by surprise. This video is so bleak and it’s crazy how much of a juxtaposition it is from the usual lighthearted tone. 10/10 video.

I think it’s really cool how they showed how Henson was a man who was always very nice and never got angry and rarely raised his voice. After watching the DefunctTV documentary mini series about Jim Henson’s life, it just made this episode better.

Henson always said he had an inhuman level of optimism so seeing him and Stan pal up at the end is very true to the man. I do wish that they wouldve used Micheal Eisner instead of Walt for the section of the rap since Micheal Eisner helped Jim Henson with his shows back when Eisner worked for ABC, then later he worked with Henson again when he was the CEO of Disney.
