cowboy coffee....stuff so strong it makes your spoon stand up! :D
ОтветитьThanks for the tips, Michael! I’m in the market for a belt sander and noticed you have a Wen. Do you recommend it? What model is it?
ОтветитьI see you using a lot of 1/4” thick walnut. Where do you get that? Makes for a classy look. Is it hard to hand cut fret slots?
ОтветитьHey Michael, your one creative dude!
ОтветитьVery clever Michael, Thanks for showing us. Best Wishes.
ОтветитьAlways love your videos Michael.
1)floor coffee, no good
2)Save scraps
Michael . What kind of finish do you use on the neck and fretboard . Do you finish the wood with the frets in . thanks much.
ОтветитьMichael, I've got a problem when using any finger to bar, its never a clean sound but if I put a slide on my finger the sound seems a much better sound, any ideas Michael? Its a 3 string CBG. I've always found it difficult to bar when using any of my 6 string guitars. Thank you Michael.
ОтветитьHi Michael, I measured the distance from the fret-board to the strings & they seem ok****1st fret .2mm****17th fret .7mm & the bridge height .10mm. & If I put a capo on the the sound is great. I don't know Michael but I think it must be me. Thank you Michael, God Bless.
ОтветитьLike candy sticks. Be safe Michael. Stay dry too! Thanks
ОтветитьSprinkle a few grains of salt into the glue on both ends and in the middle before clamping. It will stop the pieces from skating. The salt desolves harmlessly into the glue, just don't overdo it...a few grains.
ОтветитьI’m loving all this Michael just finished my first cbg thanks to your help and now onto the next one, ( multi wood ) I’m hooked thanks again🤦♂️
ОтветитьCan you show me how you put that neck and heel in to that small of a box
Thank you
Excellent stuff, Michael!
About how much overlap do you like to have between the neck and the heel? I have some 2ft necks coming and would like to have a piece inside the box for maximum strength. Thanks!
So, I’ve been watching for a couple months then this relic shows up in my “recommended “. Now that little ditty is a knee slapper. How about a tutorial on it? Cheers, mate!
ОтветитьHello Michael. I have some questions please : 1. How much long for the overlap beetween neck and heel wood ? 2. how much long the heel peep out from the box ? 3. how much long the neck going inside the box ? 4. The neck you mention is about 3/4" or 1.9 cm thick .... is that before adding fretboard ? 5. What is the fretboard thickness ? Thanks Michael.
ОтветитьThanks Michael, I’m heading for the shop and make a couple of these multi-wood heels for my next CBG projects. 😊
ОтветитьI can't wait to see how these two necks look when their finished. I will post another video, to show them off :)
