I'm only 22 but I have a really funny story about this song. I may be young but I've been through a lot. For as long as I could remember I always was notorious for screwing everything up with everyone, family, friends, everybody. I have a habit for being a bit too caring for everyone else except myself. Anyway, because of the massive wedge I drove between everyone, all the heartbreak I caused, the loss, I got into the habit of using songs like this to myself in a deep state of depression, with little to no hope and hatred for humanity until one day, out of no where, someone across the nation found one of my social handles. That was four years ago. August will be our 5 year mark. Because of her I was slowly able to see the light in things like life, humanity, and well love. Because of her I'm finally able to know what love truly is. As im sitting here writing this I listen to this song wishing I could go back to the dwy i first heard this and used it in a negative way and tell myself that 'everything will be okay' and 'you WILL know what love is.' all these years later and I'm so happy to say the person from four years ago is now my significant other! Because of her, I know what love is. I guess what I'm trying to say is time will heal all wounds. ❤
