Stupid Modi/Rajnath et al instead of pleading and paying billions for proven technologies like scramjet should pay more to select the best brains to carry out indigenous R&D. A good start will gr to increase pathetic R&D expenditure and increase it by at least two fold from present measly 0.6% of the GDP.

Why begging scramjet technology from Russia ? Was so-called HSTDV test failure then despite drdo calling it a success!

Brahmos2 hypersonic missiles with scramjet engine is the future. DRDO please discuss collaborate with ISRO for brahmos2 scramjet. They already make missiles with scramjet. DRDO ISRO AND ADA has to come together also for future projects for brahmos mirv and make it more lethal. Any suggestion from any department any advice from any technical department can prove to be a boon. Please keep options open for suggestions from internal and external departments. Good luck.

The army and the government are not stupid to go for these weapons systems. They want the best weapons against an adversary who has been equipping themselves with advanced weapons.The made in India program can move along concurrently.

Select either Archar NG or Tapas. Same role, why double funding required. Select one and save resources and time.

Why the hype over Stryker? In what way is it better than the Tata Kestrel based WHAP and the Mahindra WHAP which has undergone Army testing?

$5 million for each vehicle is totally insane price.. and secondly, don't assume that America wants to earn money from you. The basically wants to deploy spys in the form of their weapons. By these weapons, they would get access to precise location and complete digital signatures of our arm forces and thereby rendering our forces at their dependence and mercy. In future, if any such day comes that US would be your adverseary you won't be able to withstand them even for one day.

So, the F414 engine saga is still going on. If there is change in leadership in US in 2025, expect more renegotiations on the engine deal which in turn results in more delays. So, Tejas MK2 and AMCA MK1 projects will be delayed further. With no Alternate engine plans, Bharat's Airforce is either doomed or should spend billions on foreign jets to keep maintaining a minimum fleet numbers!!

Bharat is begging others for scramjet engines, Helicopter engines, Marine Engines/AIP propulsion and Fighter jet engines. How can it dream of defending its borders and project power when it is so dependent on other countries for crucial technologies?!

Please let us know when ANY defence project was on time ??!!!

Stryker has no amphibious capability and usa 10 million dollar tank is not different from 4 million T90 in ukraine .

Indiak army should go for split order of kestrel , mahindra 8x8
And also incorporate styrker .

We will need at least 700+ units .
amphibious one helps in shallow coastal island defence.
