The only way I can see modern art as "art" is if you consider the mental gymnastics people go through to give some sort of meaning to the trash, rubbish, paint smears, scat, and public displays of deliberate human embarrassment. Its just chaos and nonsense for pseudo-intellectuals and bored, rich jerkoffs to masturbate to, feigning comprehension and vicariously imbuing themselves with insight by pretending to understand the totally incomprehensible.

I hereby title the entirety of modern art as the superpiece "Look at these idiots pretend this shite is Art."

Great approach. This was the approach I used in teaching my college Intro to Lit courses -- which also included a unit on literature that responded to art.
