Thanks this really helped
Ответитьvery nice
Ответитьdont be a jimi, must beat jimi, will get champ before jimi
ОтветитьRotation are horrible for low ranks from my experience
ОтветитьAnd how do you rotate when both of you teammates are going along side the wall sniffing each other's butt ending in the enemy corner without boost bumping a ball in place while hoping somehow they'll create a shot for the 3rd man that is now the only possible striker
Ответитьthis is probably the most important Rocket League video that’s ever been posted. Besides the video where he said play 1v1 and you’ll get better
ОтветитьCan you do a video looking at the differences between our positioning and pros positioning and the logic behind both?
Ответитьthis video was coaching level content w thanovic
ОтветитьI’ve never seen a video that explains rotation that ever made any sense. Not sure if this one will help as well.
Ответитьnow this is rocket league

Ответить100 HOURS OF ROTATING. here's what I learned
ОтветитьBe the teammate you would wanna have. Best advice. Let that sink in like quicksand
ОтветитьNot to mention if your teammates break the rotation, you have to break rotation too to compensate, sometimes your teammates rotation is so bad that you constantly have to defend by being at the back all the time, and due to too much recurring pressure, after sometime you make a mistake, make a whiff, and your worthy teammates go "What a Save!!!"
ОтветитьHow do I pass to myself?
ОтветитьBro I only watched this because my friend says I have bad rotations.
BUT I DO LIKE EVERYTHING IN THIS VIDEO!!!
Thankyou so much this helped a lot I went from shelve to plat in a week
ОтветитьDoes this positioning still apply in a scoring position? I always seem to have trouble being too close for the ball to pass me or too far to make the shot. Is there an ideal distance to be away from the goal before it’s set up?
ОтветитьCan someone please tell people how to defend the goal with out camping in it
ОтветитьI'm having an issue with positioning. In Diamond 1 1v1s, I'm finding it's best to not challenge the ball unless my opponent is about to shoot. Instead I find it better to lead the ball (shadow defence) and keep making occasional touches on the ball in an attempt to make my opponent screw up so that I can take it safely.
But I've started playing 2v2s lately. I've gotten to Diamond 3 and I've hit a wall here. I'm finding that my teammates like to challenge the ball in a 50/50 a LOT. Even if there's no chance of them even getting to the ball on time. Sometimes this works out in our favour, but more often than not it results in me having to face 2 opponents solo while my teammate is recovering and rotating. I don't know how to deal with these frequent 2v1 scenarios and what I can do to prevent them from happening.
It used to be even worse when I was first man and I decided the challenge isn't worth it so I slow down to see what the opponent is doing and my teammate rockets past me to challenge putting both of us out of position. I've stopped this now by simply rotating behind my teammate whenever I decide the challenge isn't worth it. Sure it means that the opponent has lots of space to do whatever they want and nobody's defending against him, but it's better than both me and my teammate being put out of position to protect the goal from long shots.
There are a few times that my teammates have said I'm useless and just sit back and let my teammate do all the work. So I decided to oblige them and challenge 50/50s unconditionally like they do and all that resulted in was my teammate ending up in 2v1 scenarios. And honestly as arrogant as it sounds, I don't think many Diamond 3s are better individual players than me. They panic too much when the ball is near the goal and they over-commit every interaction they make. Diamond 1 1v1 players feel like significantly better players than Diamond 3 2v2s in my opinion and I honestly feel like I'm a better individual player than others in Diamond 3. I just can't seem to figure out 2v2 positioning and gameplay. Too much of it seems wasteful and pointless.
You say first man needs to challenge for the 50/50. But why? Why can't you just simply let them make their play and take the ball from them when they inevitably screw up? This leaves the second man free to be a fine backup if things go wrong or steal the ball if it roams free.
If first man challenges for a 50/50 all the time even if he knocks the ball away from the opponent, he still might not gain control of the ball. That means the second man is forced forward into play while the first man stumbles around boostless and out of play. Often leaving the second man in a 2v1 scenario.
Sure sometimes a 50/50 makes sense. But making it a rule when it should be an exception sounds stupid af.
anyone realise he was using a subscribe button that looks like the pulse clans

Ответитьthank you so much man, this video has heloed me score more, be more aware, and support and be supported by my teamates more
Ответитьaguante chileee ctmmm
ОтветитьWhat should you do if you tell your level 3000 friend they rotate terribly and that they shouldnt pass in front of your own net. they also go for the ball miss and instead of rotating wide the other way to let me challenge the push it to our zone into our own net and he still thinks he plays fine
Ответитьbest tutorial guide
even in 2023
I was playing yesterday and I was third man back, second man got demoed so I moved up to receive a pass since my teammate was now their man back. I jumped for the aerial and I hear as I’m hitting the ball “Bro, why are you up” from my teammate that just got demoed who is now in the air almost immediately after respawning asking me why I’m up. I had to watch this video just to make sure I wasn’t missing something.
Ответитьcan we all agree that only 5% of diamonds watch this video, so if you do rotations and positioning and your teammate doesnt know how to position good or how to rotate good, theres no reason you should learn rotating when your teammates also dont know what it is
ОтветитьThis really helped me. Thanks for posting this video.
ОтветитьThank u so mch i am finally silver 2
ОтветитьInteresting. I'm a plat 2 player with diamond 1 skills on a good day and even I didn't fully know all of this. I knew of course that you want a front/mid/back rotation but I thought it was all just decided on the spot.. I didn't know there was actual rules like the guy up front rotating to the very back after his play. I thought the 2 attackers up front worked together while rotating mid-field and the person defending goes up to take someones place only when someone has to drop back for boost or there's a demo which happens often enough that rotation just sort of happens. No wonder randoms don't like playing with me even tho I make good saves and good shots, I'm only doing half of the rotation rules but I've only been learning through observing and playing instinctively. I've never looked up guides for this game before until now because I want out of platinum after a year of hovering
ОтветитьThis was very informative thank you
ОтветитьHuh?
ОтветитьMy best friend will get mad at me for "not rotating properly" while he constantly breaks rotation to try and steal goals or push too hard and ends up double committing. Gets tiresome.
And he defends it by saying I'm a lower rank so he can't trust me to make the setup or take the shot
If your a platinum u gotta feel that mostly every platinum breaks the rotation like if relatable
ОтветитьWeird that the bad player is always the toxic one 💀
ОтветитьCan u cover reads?
ОтветитьI've only been playing for about 20 hours and I'm plat 2. I have almost zero technical ability. I can't aerial at all. My only advantage is I'm an ex-pro chess player. My gamesense and situational awareness is really good. That's the difference knowing how to rotate makes. To me it comes naturally but I can see why some people struggle. It's not something you can practice with in freemode like technical skills.
Ответитьthank you so much
Ответитьplease make another one but talk English thx
ОтветитьWhat about solos? How does it apply there???
Ответитьhey thanovic, can we get a tutorial to do a 360 noscope pyscho across the map pinch off backboard musty and double tap into the goal?
