Player hit buttons because that’s how you get out in strive. If you don’t press buttons every character in the game will block string you to death. Yes, those aren’t true block strings, but that’s the point — gaps in the block strings are usually so short that you either mash out or are stuck in for another round.

I honestly think in aggregate opponents will get away with a lot more shit if you don’t throw those jabs out.

I feel Slayer will probably land in high tier for the simple reason that even if he makes a lot of mistakes, he can tank it and even the odds with a SINGLE correct read in neutral in part due to his high damage. With how fast K-Mappa Hunch is and that it covers 80% of the screen, he can close the distance very quick or catch you with a stray counter hit
