ОтветитьLast time I crash dieted was in 2018. I was getting stuff ready for a weekend at a Naturist camp and I suddenly felt very self conscious about how I looked considering everyone would be nude there. Well 2 weeks of nothing but fruit smoothies and jogging 3 miles a day dropped me down by 14 Lbs. I was happy with the results but felt like 💩 and wanted to punch everyone. Plus at the camp they had BBQ and we were all sharing junk food we brought like Smores, soda, alchohol and candy. So that two weeks of work went away in 2 days 😂
ОтветитьOdd question; does anyone here ever get really really angry when you're talking about one of your mental disorders and someone just says, just stop it repeatedly. Example: Your talking about your anxiety and paranoia when your friends wanna watch a scary movie, but you know that if you watch it, you'll just have a mental breakdown in front of them; so you say you don't want to watch the movie for that reason. (Your being honest with people you can trust) and they say, in an annoyingly sarcastic and serious voice: "Just don't think about it. It's simple." And then you start to feel really bad because they seem annoyed with your "complaining" and you tell them why you can't just "stop it" and they tell you that you can you're just not trying, and then you feel worse. Like, it just hurts and they aren't trying to sympathize you at all, they're just making you feel worse!

ОтветитьI’m hoping to start Taekwondo back up (back because I did it when I was a kid, but I’m 19 now so it’s been like 10 years) as a way to get me to keep up with exercise. I’ve learned that I will not listen to my self-imposed schedules, but if I’m paying for lesions I’m gonna go to them, so martial arts came to mind as a fun way to get my body moving. I did a lot of yoga during the spring and early summer which I miss doing because it helped my chronic pain, but it got too hot and then too cold to do it outside and my house doesn’t have enough space for me to set out my mat and do my routines, so I’m trying to find a work around.
I love cooking on top of that, especially Japanese food (though my favorites aren’t always the healthiest- especially chicken katsu) so finding a few healthy recipes that make me feel better has been helping. Spicy chicken wraps and chicken burritos were my go to meals for ages before onigiri lunches took over because I love the texture of my favorite fillings so much, but I’m trying to think up healthier options for those too since they’re quick and easy.
Overall I’m hopefully starting collage next fall and I wanna build healthy habits before then so I don’t go in feeling like crap and struggle through my classes because my already bad health is worse because I’m not taking care of it. I know it’s been 5 years, but this video’s helping me get into the swing of things and giving me the push to really start.
