Best Selling Xbox Consoles 2001 - 2020

This visualization shows the sales performance of each Xbox console starting from the original Xbox in 2001 up to August 2020. I sped up the first few years as not to bore you. Although the Xbox has normally been the most powerful console it was way too late to the party. This allowed Sony to capture most of the market looking for a console with advanced graphics. Gamers are extremely loyal to their consoles so it's tough to steal them from Sony and Nintendo.
