Better Than Anby, But By How Much? In-Depth Qingyi Review & Guide (Disk Drive, Wengine, Teams)

amazing work as always! for me, i’ll still pull for Qingy for three reasons:

1. I really like her character

2. The only problem I have with Anby is that her daze combo takes a bit to get and if one needs to dodge you won’t be able to get that much daze. This is very annoying with aggressive mobs.

3. I really love stunners, since my only stunner is currently Anby then i’ll have Qingy to be able to do my two teams for the hollow thing!

I think in terms of current account value she’s not super high value. But I think built in damage multiplier gives her as much if not more long term value than the limited atk agents so far. Enablers always find a way to stick around

One of the things I appreciate about your ZZZ videos is how you openly admit that you're still learning, and trying your best to give everyone accurate information based on your own experiences. The game is barely a month old, no one has all the answers. We're all still learning alongside each other. I feel like some content creators forget that, but you keep yourself grounded and I respect that.

I have a feeling Qingyi won't sell well. My worry is that they'll start pushing character synergies like we see with Ben and Koleda, but they'll make these synergies overpowered just to pressure us into buying their characters.

i need that ben guide in-depth cuz i got him 6/6 but i have no real sense on how i should build him other than shockstar disco obviously

I got koleda as my 50 pull newbie garantee from the standard banner, AND I got Lycaon when I lost the 50/50 on the limited banner.

So yeah I have most of the Stunners in the game already I am NOT going got Qing-Yi LOL

Don't worry we ALL have genshin rot I still use the terms constellations & wishes & Artifacts. It's a new game, gonna take some time to learn new habits and use the correct names 🤣 no stress brother.

I'm absolutely getting her. Gameplay looks very fun and she's a stunner that can go with pretty much any attacker. If I want to make her stronger I just need to get a const or 2 or/and her wep whenever a stronger stunner(that will likely be more restrictive) comes out.

I plan to go for attacker teams rather than disorder till the dust settles for those so she's perfect

I’d like to get Qingyi, but tbh I already have a well-built Anby and I’d like to get her to M6. It’s not very encouraging to me that Qingyi’s banner has two A-Tiers that I don’t use and I feel my pulls would be wasted on them.

Also, as someone who is a very low-spender, I want to save more resources to develop my Grace Discord team more with either Jane Doe or Burnice.

are you sure about skipping levelling up the ult? the ult skill also shares level with chain attack, and chain attacks can be very powerful

I have lyacon n c3 anby but I'll still pick qingyi. Anby getting her combo interrupted is rly a waste of time at shiyu defense. Her combo E after 3rd atk timing is just rly bad with how aggressive enemies are at shiyu 15-17 only make it worse. I soloed all of Wuwa's hologram VI with danjin so I believe it isnt skill issue on my part.

For Anton, I've heard about pairing him with Grace and Rina since Grace can apply shock super fast for him to detonate, but I haven't actually seen any good endgame showcases of how this team performs.

Don't understand why you are comparing maxed out Anby to starting Qingyi. I rolled 200 plus times on the standard banner and only got a single Copy of Anby. And I'm not F2P. The vast majority of people do not have maxed out Anby. Also if Qingyi is better still than maxed out Anby she's vastly better than C0-4 Anby.

Hoyo are just leaving themselves room for the inevitable power creep down the line that is especially typical of support characters, because they don't sell as well as main damage dealers.

Stupid ass title is qingi worth it? Off course anby is nowhere near her she is a 5 star , 4 stars don't compare to 5 star even with constellation , and also anby is really chankey to play

the fact that i have Koleda and my Anby is built is why I'm skipping Qingyi, although I love her concept as a character. Especially since Anby is on the Jane Doe banner so yeah, goodluck on everyone's pulls!

I got her and her signature and man, she stuns so fast for me. It’s insane. Not even leveled up all the way like you in the video yet. I’m still IK 44. Her playstyle takes some getting used to after playing Anby for so long. But I find her super fun as well. Worth pulling for my Zhu team.

Just pulled her and her w-engine. Got an insane double for the w-engine banner so now I have Lycaon’s as well which is kind of insane.

As of right now I find most of this a little misleading. While I do agree Qingyi isn't a "must pull" for some people, I think you're focusing too much on Anby future potential and not really giving the same thought to Qingyi. I find that right now my Qingyi stuns alot faster and more consistantly than Anby because like you said in your own video no one has a maxed out Anby right now. Her combo also doesn't get interrupted by aggressive bosses. If you truely wanna compare future Anby vs future Qingyi you also have to also consider the fact that bosses in the future will be harder and Anby gives almost no utility while Qingyi give 80% extra stun damage while also doing more damage herself. Lastly, alot of people only have 1 stunner and no real access to anomaly teams which really adds to her value as we don't know when another stunner might come.

Was really on the fence because I have Zhu Yuan and would really rather get Jane Doe.

a lot of people are disagreeing with jello but i agree, its not about is qingyi better than amby or not, its about is she worth that increase, personally even though i have zhu, i wont get her cause zhu is already good with amby and imo having a variety of elements is much better early on than having a replacement for a free character, getting jane or burnice would be a bigger upgrade overall for an account than getting an increase over amby which is already good enough.

I might be in the minority but I love Qingyi's design so much. Man, I wanna pull for her but I'm saving for Jane and besides I have no use for a second Electro Stunner 😞 (I love Anby, too). Why must this world be so cruel?

btw why should the ultimate be left at 1 since it also levels up the chain attacks ultimate, it will do significantly less damage

EDIT: Seems like consensus is the hot pot WENGIN is the go to. I'm not totally sure it's better, but for now just know that's what most people agree to go with! (i still kinda think fossil is better but we'll talk more about this another day)

I've never spent so much time testing a character as I have during the Qingyi beta (including all my Genshin stuff) as I've had to learn so many characters from the ground up to do proper comparisons. So although we can all understand this stuff won't age well because we are early in the game, I really am doing my best to give you the most honest thoughts I can based on the info I have right now.
