ОтветитьI’m surprised you haven’t brought up Italian director: Bruno Mattei and his collection of zombie movies of the 1980s.
ОтветитьMockbusters, because you don't HAVE TO love your children! 😁
ОтветитьOh my god, this reminds me when my parents bought a knock-off of Cars along with the original movie. I loved both the original and the knock-off!
ОтветитьI think there´s an error in your video. Wayne Berwick is not the one who was the co-founder of Vanwick Productions, it´s Irvin Berwick. Wayne Berwick is Irvin´s son. But otherwise, phenomenal video!
ОтветитьI hate those
ОтветитьI love both the real films and movbusters, the Asylum movies are great fun yo watch and if you can't tell the difference between the 2 when buying or renting them then more fool you 😂😅🤣
ОтветитьThe aslyum mock busters are awesome shoot you could see their stuff pretty much original anymore and they’re much better than most of the movies in theaters
ОтветитьMockbusters are becoming better than the movies in the theaters
ОтветитьYou can make as many as you want, but people won't like them.
ОтветитьIt's crazy to realize that some where even dubbed in other languages
ОтветитьHow about the movie How to Ratawang your panda?
ОтветитьI thought at first, I heard good times as in ,a certain party planning service 😅I'm so sorry!
Ответитьnice
ОтветитьYou should do a followup to the new strategy they have. Today these production companies tries to make simple movies and sell to streaming services. Netflix purchase the rights for these mega low budget movies and release a whole heap of them only to hide them a month later, why, to trick subscribers of their "impressive" catalog.
Most obvious are the christmas movies and other holiday movies. Usually these are all christian faith movies. The production companies can record up to 10 different christmas movies per month. They use the exact same house and studio, nothing change in all movie settings except the story and the characters, you can see the exact same cars, same sofas, same kitchen in 100s of these barfed out movies. Look it up. its interesting as it is disgusting.
i don’t understand how they can still exist and where their profit is coming from legally
ОтветитьI think Mockbusters are so fun. I wanna make one 😂
Ответить"they spend 500 thousand and make 1 million"? Now my question is how the fuck do they make 1 million with shit like that.
ОтветитьIh the memories i have of walking into the 'sci fi and horror ' section of a video store in rhe very early eighties in the uk and seeing HUNDREDS of quickly produced simibusters, films openly copying the plot of a popular movie from a few months ago. Who's here old enough to remember " Gates of Hell" and the 'drill to head' scene? Star Wars inspired dozens of low budget copybusters and not just the ones you are thinking of: I mean the GERMAN ones, the ones that never made it to any cinema screen. It really was a fun time for practical effects . . . . .
ОтветитьI just hope that these mockbusters end up in court and lose cuz mocking history is disrespectful and dishonorable
ОтветитьI like mockbusters
ОтветитьVery timely that this shows up just days after seeing Chip and Dale
ОтветитьBlockbuster going out really screwed over these scammers
ОтветитьLol
ОтветитьEven anime get ripped-off by other anime. Rahxepheon is practically a mockbuster of sorts to Evangelion and I find it quite ironic that they were both dubbed and distributed in the US by the same company: ADV Films.
ОтветитьWhen they mentioned there was a mock buster of snakes on a plane my mind immediately went to that one episode of gumball
ОтветитьDisney tried to copy right Loki and forgot it’s a religion
ОтветитьI knew Larry Zerner looked familiar. That's Shelly from Friday the 13th part 3!
Ответитьwe love ripoffs
ОтветитьFor those that use the already used names for their rip-offs:🖕
ОтветитьWell they are still broadcasted by very tiny and local tv networks that don't have the budget to actually buy the rights for the original movies.
ОтветитьJuvinile Variant Karate Lizards.
ОтветитьAntz is a rip off of a bug's Life ? I always think it's a good movie and a bug's Life it looks like DreamWorks works really hard on antz .
ОтветитьMy grandmother once bought me the entire Narnia movie series. I was stoked, I didn't even know there were multiple movies. I started watching and quickly realised it was a mockbuster. I then discovered there were no multiple Narnia movies. I never told my grandmother either. RIP gran
ОтветитьTransmorphers is the best movie title of all time
ОтветитьI've watched Titanic II. It was an okay watch
ОтветитьOG fans of Nickelodeon might remember, "We are not Blockbuster. We are BlockBlister!!! Is better. Much better!!!"
ОтветитьThe lion king has stolen from
Kimba the white lion came first
I think mockbusters should be illegal, especially with ripping off video titles.
ОтветитьNickbusters. Exploiting people who always get the titles of movies slightly wrong.
ОтветитьLong live Gordy!
ОтветитьMockBusters arent going away.... They just get picked up by FX or the Syfi channel
ОтветитьOh, those were the days, my brother and I searching the dollar bin in the DVD store for the latest knockoff movie starring Casper Van Dien... It seemed like he was in every one of them.
ОтветитьIt's funny because this video is very close to plagiarizing Filmmaker IQ's video on this same subject.
ОтветитьTRANSMORPHERS!? LMFAOOOOOO
Ответитьthank god I’ve never heard of of those knock off movies 😂
ОтветитьI saw the pinocchio muckbuster movie as a child, didn´t know it was a rip off. It was good tho.
