A beautiful cosy vlog. Palmer on the sofa was adorable. If you Google "Herbst Kastanien" and you will come to lots a Fall crafts using different nuts, berries and leaves to make eg animals and people. Its a big craft tradition in Germany and Scandinavia, especially with kids at Fall time. Its such fun.

Just a thought, but it might show the sunlight better thru the leaves if you hung them by fishing wire. There's a clear type, and you could get little tiny clothespins they sell in a jar at Target to attach the wire to the leaves instead of having to damage the leaves with holes. It also would look really pretty with them dangling in the sunlight. I did something similar with a lamp. I used clear twinkle light strands and clipped the leaves in btwn the lights, and it gives it that Xtra glow of cozy at night
