ОтветитьTerrible design, They always break off
ОтветитьNice video, good instruction and easy to watch.
I've just snapped the aerial input on my TV and want to mend it. I'm not sure I have one of those cage things that I can get hold of. Would it also be an acceptable repair (would it work) to solder in a short length of co-ax cable directly to the board and existing cage?
Thumbs up!

ОтветитьI'll call the repair man. Thanks 😅
ОтветитьThanks my Tv is repared now
ОтветитьWish you up the road just broke that exact part!!!❤️
ОтветитьI wish more people would have a go at this stuff. Great work! I like to fix stuff at every opportunity I get too.
ОтветитьAnother good fix !! . It's also handy to have a supply of e-waste circuit boards on standby. 👍
Ответить📺🪛 👍
ОтветитьIf not handy at fixing things. You Can also Use a $10 set top box to hook up ant run via box AV connections (Yellow Res & White plugs )
ОтветитьYet another good vid Chris. I allways enjoy your repair sessions, I often do my own repairs similar to you, but you put out the videos and make it entertaining ! Thank you. Ian T.
ОтветитьGood job Chris 😀
ОтветитьEmpty container at the end was great. I never seem to reach that. Thank you
ОтветитьBrilliant
ОтветитьNicely fixed, I'm somewhat surprised to see the aerial socket still in use... I'd have just bypassed it with a cheap freeview box, satellite box, dvd, blueray, game box or even an old video. I'm guessing what I'm saying, is there's more than one way to skin a cat and with modern TVs as long as you have a working hdmi or AV socket the original owner could have bypassed the damaged socket and even upgraded the TV, no soldering skill required if the had wanted to.
ОтветитьNice repair ! Well done
ОтветитьNice fix! 😁📺
ОтветитьLovely job Chris, definitely a worthwhile repair.
✌♥️🇬🇧
Good fix Chris
ОтветитьNice save
ОтветитьGreat fix.
Went better than the last TV I tried fixing. It had no backlight. I thought the backlight controller was bad. Even the power supply repair manual pointed to replacing that chip. Didn't work. People seem to think the LEDs are what went bad. But by then I had already gotten rid of it.
They don't build them to last, like everything today.
