Zeref was misunderstood by almost everyone as the most evil mage in history when in reality, he's actually one of the kindest characters in the series who was constantly being tortured by his curse.

His voice is just amazing

to be fair fairy tail got interesting during tartaros arc. every arc except first two were like "meh, same stuff same results". here, even tho it ends like always, with a victory, at least we have some nice twists (since tartaros arc, silver vs gray was so emotional, and now alvarez empire). i looked forward to this moment for so long. a lot of stuff made sence, those little foreshadows. mashima isn't like oda, but his foreshadows were nice as well (example: that fortuneteller enemy who told gray that he's going to meet a problematic woman), or the fact that natsu survived going to the celestial spirits world, or a jutsu shiki wall made by fried which said that people over 80 cannot cross the barrier and few more i probably skipped. it was kinda interesting to be fair (idk if genius). that cumulation was something what personally i was waiting for. i have no regrets randomly watching this anime

I love Zeref so much and everytime I think of what he went through it makes me tear up. Like I'm shocked it took him a little over 400 years to crack. If I was him I would have cracked way sooner. Like way way soon. When he was first introduced I automatically feel in love with him. He looked like someone who went through so much.
