ОтветитьWhat’s happening
ОтветитьWould she have fought 4 him if it was no baby?
ОтветитьMy grandad worked on this movie
ОтветитьI like his action when he through him self to her arms this action means even he is a king he acts as a child needs his mother to save him
ОтветитьLove the way he collapses into her arms. You can tell he's just been waiting and waiting for her to come.
ОтветитьHe acts just like a baby run to his mom 😢 what a beautiful action
ОтветитьThe crazy doctor is probably trying to take advantage of the king 😢
ОтветитьThe doctor went from 0 to 100 with his power tripping. When he eas initially introduced, he acted like he was different to the other doctors and knew the solution. He cured him for a moment by just using words and was made the king's doctor. Later, the king was starting an episode and the doctor decided to just slap him. It worked but was still a bit shocking. Then later, the doctor changes even more by saying the king needs to only listen to him and also to truly be cured needs to start torture classes. Like, wth?? Doctor was obsessed with gaining authority and subjecting him to torture to boost his own ego and the king's mother just let it happen.
Ответитьthe heartbreaking thing is that their story had no happy ending :(
ОтветитьCorey's acting in this scene was heartbreaking but the performance was memorable!
ОтветитьI love this scene but there is one small part in the book I wish they kept where George is clinging to her and pushes them both into the wall and the guards start trying to grab him but she stops them by telling them he’s just trying to get as far away from the chair as he can. George never says it, she just knew what his intentions were even when he was acting in a seemingly aggressive way. IDK just something about it is just ❤❤❤
ОтветитьI agree the "doctor" was totally SADISTIC.
King George's mother
was so desperate to
cure him & hold on to
power that she closed
her eyes to the fact that "Dr. Munro" was a
"quack" as some of the regular doctors tried to tell her. King
George's love was so
deep for Queen Charlotte that he
put himself through
hellish torture to
get well for Queen
Charlotte. They both
sacrificed a lot to
prove their love for
each other. For me
this is truly a "Love
❤ Story" !!!!
Which episode?
ОтветитьUna increíble , desgarradora y tierna historia de amor !
Actores increíbles , buenísimos como tal .....
la puedo ver tantas veces ....
He didnt need torture cause that what that was i wouldve done exactly what Charlotte did the hell are you doing not helping him thats for sure
ОтветитьIndias espressione when she says:" UNTIE THE KING" damn girl u ate this role!
ОтветитьI find it incredible how she says “I am charlotte ,this is our child and we need you to be George again OR NONE OF US ARE ANYONE “she lived her life living up to that statement wow profound
ОтветитьWhat episode is this
ОтветитьThat was one of the most heartbreaking scene I had to watch. Seriously, if someone was to treat the love of my life that way, I would have gone mad on everyone. I don't know how she kept it together. I also love the scene right after when she goes outside and tells the doctor: "I care not for his sanity. I care for his happiness, I care for his soul. Let him be mad if mad is what he needs." Unconditional love.
ОтветитьThis scene was honestly so sad. The amount of pain he went through. It's heart touching 💞 and she saved him too.
ОтветитьGuys plz which episode is that??
ОтветитьCharlotte was Ride or Die for George! No Queen no King, just Charlotte & George!
Ответить"I am Charlotte"
Cheap Netflix edition
The sadistic "treatments" were essentially compounding interest for the doctor. After they were done, George would get better at hiding his symptoms out of fear of going back, creating the illusion of improvement and "legitimizing" the doctor, but the mental and physical trauma of it would make him worse in the long run, ensuring the doctor gets a steady patient and an increasingly desperate client. At least George had Charlotte to save him. I imagine other patients weren't so lucky.
ОтветитьI agree with everyone who says the doctor was sadistic. But until very, very recently, mental health conditions were often thought to be caused by evil spirits and demons. Medicine was horrendous in those ages. Wealthy women who got ill had their hair and teeth removed because it was thought they sucked energy from the rest of the body. There was no anaesthesia or asepsis. Assylums were tourists attractions.
ОтветитьDamn he's so handsome
ОтветитьWhat episode was this?
ОтветитьSAVES*
ОтветитьShut it down, Charlotte! I literally was waiting for this scene, I knew she would be the only person who could save him and it did not disappoint!
ОтветитьI love this scene. What he endured to try to get well for her. And when he sees her, he collapses into her arms for love and protection. Beautifully acted
ОтветитьMonro : There is a better way to heal him instead of torture. Talk to him.
Also Monro : tortures the king
Episode?
ОтветитьThis scene was heartbreaking. When George started the treatments I had to turn the show off for two days because it was breaking my heart to watch his condition to be treated in such a harmful way.
ОтветитьIM CRYING ITS SO GOOD IM CRYING 😭😭😭
Ответить“Damn Venus!” I love it
ОтветитьShe did the right thing saving him he was suffering.
ОтветитьThis weird ass doctor really seem to be getting a kick out of torturing him
ОтветитьQueen Charlotte had a lot to deal with she had to protect George and the crown, had royal duties and then 15 children that is alot to take in and back then they didn't know about Bipolar let alone treatment for it.
ОтветитьI cried almost every episode
ОтветитьThe doctor was a barbaric mf
ОтветитьHe must of been schizophrenic not bipolar
ОтветитьI love Bridgeton but found this prequel quite disappointing. While the actors were fabulous the story line left a lot to be desired. Unpleasant surprise.
ОтветитьGosh, I really wish she had sentenced him to a lifelong of all the “treatments” that he had inflicted upon King George. What a twisted, sadistic quack. I can’t believe they let him get away with all that. If that’s what he did the to the king, I don’t even wanna imagine what he did to other members of the society.
Ответитьwhat makes this even sadder is that on his quest to get better for Charelotte, the doctor ended up actually making his condition worse :(
ОтветитьIt's hansen
ОтветитьThis series was so good. The love Charlotte and George shared gave me chills. The actors and actresses did and incredible job.
ОтветитьThe doctor was absolutely SADISTIC!! He had a superiority complex and felt empowered as he inflicted great pain and discomfort to King George (who was assigned great power at birth) and had the nerve to call it treatment. Being able to torture someone that powerful made him feel powerful and he got off on it. My heart went out to George. He was so desperate to get better, not only for himself, but for Queen Charlotte as well 😔
Ответить"Who are you?"
"I'm the Queen your wife"
"The Queen is a white German woman"
"Guaaards, he's gone mad again!"
