Hello i was wondering what changes this might do the laptop ,like will it effect in the future with other things in the laptop as I'm changing the integral part of its processing

I wish I had found this sooner! Just making the first change solved the issue...no more crashing! I even added more extensions to Chrome to try to make it crash and nothing. Is it safe to assume the other changes will improve performance even more or should I just leave well enough alone?

Nothing works for me, windows 21H2 starts with 12-13% of my 16 GB ram. My second OS to the same PC windows 1809 starts with 1% of my 16 GB.

SuperFetch has clearly been renamed or hidden now.

sysmain is missing from this video. so i couldn't check everything why doesn't microsoft fix so many problems. what happened to effeciency.

To everyone who is going to do the 2nd trick : if you do that then your ram issue will be fixed but the restart will take a lot of time.

this is great and it actually worked with me on the first step but can someone tell me if this comes at a cost for each step

Ok quick question, I am apparently using 75% ram when using approximately 6-7gb when I have 16gb? How does that even make sense? Not even half.

My IBM t40 2gb ram and a 120gb ssd drive running Windows xp blows my Dell xps I7 clean out of the water for speed.
12 seconds to boot up compared with a snail paced 25 seconds.
I wiped Windows 10 off my xps I7 and installed xp 10 seconds boot up, installed latest browser etc, I only use it for web browsing and video editing so security isn't an issue for me, online banking etc is a 100 times faster with a mobile phone running Android or iOS anyway.
I'd be more tempted to run Linux than ever go back to Windows 10, and full of bloated junk that uses most of the system resources up.

I don't know what I did wrong but now when I boot up I get the blue screen of death with the error code of memory_management. Then it tries to restart only to start making beeping noises and nothing else. I hard restarted it and now I'm trying to do a system repair on it. Please help, I'm panicking.
